DUELING SURRENDERS: Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says Tuesday morning, John Boehner’s House Republicans were busy drafting their own Articles of Surrender to Obama and the Disingenuous DemocRATS, because Bitch McConnell’s Articles of Surrender in the Republican Surrender Caucus in the Senate didn’t do quite far enough, and some people in Washington were even beginning to doubt that Obama could sign an agreement before Thursday’s Dreaded Budget Crisis Deadline.

Obama Supporters in the Press were predicting the End of the World if Republicans had not officially surrendered in a single set of Articles of Surrender before the Dreaded Deadline shown at the lower right hand corner of today’s e-diton. The Earth would stop spinning on its axis, continents would toppled over one another, mountains would fly into space, and the Earth, shriveled to a cinder, would crash into the sun—more news at eleven.

All of which should not be a big problem hereabouts. After all, Mark Twain said, “When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati. It is always ten years behind the times.”

Let’s Face It: Obama is solely responsible for the current government shutdown. He used the Republican opposition to ObamaCare to manipulate them into a situation he could exploit, and Obama Supporters in the Press can make Republicans look bad so he can pursue his goal of gaining dictatorial control over the budget process.

Digging themselves out of this mess will be what Donald Rumsfeld once referred to as a “Long Hard Slog.” If only Republicans in the House of Representatives would finally schedule impeachment proceedings against Obama, claiming his inability to halt the federal government shutdown makes him unfit for office.

WALL STREET WINNERS AND WHINERS: Conservative Columnist Dick Morris says “After posturing, huffing and puffing, Republicans in the House are now preparing to surrender to Obama and agree to a short term increase in the debt limit without any cut in government spending at all. The quid in the quid pro quo is not spending cuts, not the so-called Boehner rule (one dollar of spending cuts for each dollar of borrowing authority) but an agreement by the president to do his job and negotiate with Congress. Whoop-De-Doo!
