So How Much Did He Raise at the Fund-raiser?
- Monday was more much ado about nothing during Just Obama’s Crappy Campaign Event in Cincinnati. Obama’s been campaigning for re-election at over-taxed payers’ expense every day since his Inauguration, and Monday it was our turn. It won’t be Obama’s last visit during the next “111” more days before the November Elections. Somebody will have to speak to the Union Goons on Labor Day at Coney Island.
- Hurley the Historian says on this date in 1925 Adolf Hitler published his personal manifesto “Mein Kampf,” which loosely translated means “My Kampf,” and in those days, the news media didn’t fact check what their leaders wrote any more than they have during the Obama administration. Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee chose Adolf’s “I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.
- Obama’s Tuesday schedule showed another busy day for POTUS, as the Obama Campaign raised at least $5.9-million dollars from four fundraisers Obama did in Texas.
9:00 am ET: Departs White House
11:30 am CT: Arrives San Antonio
1:00 pm CT: Delivers remarks at a fundraiser; The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio
2:30 pm CT: Attends a fundraiser; private residence, San Antonio
3:50 pm CT: Departs San Antonio
4:25 pm CT: Arrives Austin
5:50 pm CT: Delivers remarks at a fundraiser; Austin Music Hall
7:55 pm CT: Delivers remarks at a fundraiser, private residence
9:10 pm CT: Departs Austin
1:20 am ET: Arrives White House
- Maybe that’s why the national media mostly ignored our Just Another Obama’s Crappy Campaign Event in Cincinnati, and they totally ignored that Weak Tea Party excuse for a protest on Fountain Square. The only thing special was when the Obama met Jerry Springer. Imagine that— the worst president in American history shaking hands with the most embarrassing elected official in Southwest Ohio history. The national media seemed much more interested in the Romney’s latest tease about his Vice Presidential Pick, and most people hereabouts were much more concerned about Joey Votto’s knee surgery.
- Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rassmussen says the latest tracking poll shows Romney leading Obama 47%-44%. That means the Obama Campaign just blew $100 million in attack ads against Romney for squat. These guys waste their donors’ money almost as recklessly as they do ours.
- Still, to our local Obama Supporters in the Press, Obama’s visit was like the Second Coming of Christ, especially The Fishwrap. Do you think they were laying it on a little thick with that MacArthur-esque “I will be back!” headline?
- Speaking of our Feckless Fishwrappers, Metro Mole says wait to you hear about that letter from Skaggie Maggie all those loyal folks who’d been forced to retire received in the mail last Saturday.
- In Today’s Ohio Voter Fraud Update, Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says Ohio Republicans are now questioning the validity of signatures gathered by Voters First, a coalition pushing a ballot issue to change how Ohio legislative and congressional districts are drawn.
- Outraged Over-Taxed Payer Tino Delgato wonders who had more body guards, Obama or Mallory? Thank goodness that $48 million was spent on Washington Park. They had to have Monday’s Obama Event in the afternoon, since park benches are filled with sleepers at night and in the morning. Go Figure!!!
- Rees E. Price Elementary, another FCPS cathedral of learning located in Priceless Hill, has a very informative message on their message board in front of the school: FIFTH QUARTER BEGINS ON JUNE 5. No wonder the students are doing so well on the maff section of their proficiency tests. No one at the school realizes there’s NO SUCH THING as a “fifth quarter.”
- Republicans for Higher Taxes discuss the latest round of business closings in the declining city of Springdale. Perhaps Springdale’s leaders should consider that all the property tax increases they’ve been supporting have driven up costs and forced more companies out of businesses.
For example, earlier this year the Princeton School District was on the ballot with a big property tax increase, even though they were already spending more money per student than 98% of Ohio’s school districts. But that wasn’t enough. This destructive tax increase was supported by each member of the Springdale City Council, Mayor “Royal” Doyle Webster, and Springdale Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Julie “Campaign Expert” Matheny who conveniently enough is also the Mayor’s daughter. With two more businesses closing in Springdale, those high-tax chickens are already coming home to roost.
- From the Great White North, police broke up a $3 million drug ring linked to Mason teenager. This makes the $7.00/hour job you had in high school look pretty crappy. Only in McMason can high school kids find $20,000/month work-from-home opportunities. Maybe Mason Schools’ Superintendent Gail Kist-Kline should stay home during the summer instead of running away from charging bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Sounds just like the kind of shovel ready job Obama should be promoting. Now you know why Jeb Bush is doing a Romney fund-raiser in Mason tonight.
- Down at the City Hall Circus, our City Hall Snitch says the July 3 edition of the City Hall’s weekly publication, “The City Bulletin,” noted a public hearing on July 11, where the zoning hearing examiner would consider a request from Vladimir Putin for a “use variance” for a property he owns at 750 Derby Avenue. Vlad wants to use the building as a child care center. That name sound familiar.
- Whistleblower Food Critic Martin UpChuck says Mahogany’s is scheduled to open on July 27, just in time for the so-called jazz festival. Yesterday they had a job fair for servers, management, and culinary personnel. Less than 10 days before opening and they’re just now looking for staff? Surely you’d want your staff on board by now. How will they ever have time to interview, check references, do background/drug tests, let the “culinary” staff become familiar with the menu, have a couple soft openings for everyone become familiar with the routine and still open on the 27th? After reading the reviews from the first Mahogany’s in Hamilton, it appears they might need the time. Martin’s sure they WILL teach them how to add the tip automatically without letting the patrons know. This could be a bigger SNAFU than the city giving them a million dollars. But then, you get what you paid for.
- The story-behind-the-story of the Clermont GOP publicly begging for donations to pay for the party headquarters is that the HQ is in a building owned by the Masonic Lodge, and a lot of the old guard (Tim Rudd and company) are Masons. So, in essence, they want over-taxed payers to support their secretive little club and an organization that is historically anti-Catholic. The Blower is not sure which/ if any members of the local Tea Party are members of the Masons, but, at least publicly, the Tea Party claims to be in favor of openness and transparency. So will the Tea Party show its hypocrisy by supporting the funneling of funds to support a secretive organization?
- Tuesday night in Anderson, Tea Partiers met to discuss grassroots work their community to restore liberty one precinct at a time. Great! Does that mean we’ll finally be getting to meet our Precinct Executive?
- And there’s no word yet on whether Fred Kundrata will be moving into Anderson just before the filing deadline for the next Township Trustee’s race. Of course, before he starts packing, he probably ought to send in his response to that FEC request that was due over a month ago!
- Also in Anderson, Thursday’s scheduled Township Trustees Meeting should be somewhat interesting, that’s if Disgraced Trustee Kevin P. O’Brien dares to show his face after he was arrested for masturbating in a woman’s car. Trustee President Peggy Reis says she’s concerned about Whacky Jacky’s Illegitimate Son cuming on Thursday.
- Meanwhile in Northern Kentucky, Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says when Mayor Diane “Blondie” Whalen spotted Anderson Township Dis-Trustee Kevin “Spanky” O’Brien at JD Byrider used car sales in Florence, she immediately started making calls to area communities trying to determine which village was missing its idiot.
- Finally at yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Charles Foster Kane why Romney hasn’t released all his tax returns, and Beloved Whistleblower Publisher explained, “Why should he? It would only give Obama and his friend more to lie about and distort.”
