Credit for a Kill
- Hurley the Historian says last year on this date there was a spontaneous gathering on Fountain Square at noon to celebrate the Death of Osama bin Laden. Our good friend Bill Sloat’s son (USAF pilot) and thousands of others had joined and served to do what was right, and to right the great wrong. Bill said he’d be at the square at noon waving a U.S. flag and singing the Star Spangled Banner and was inviting others to join with him.
Our young men and women had sent Osama bin Laden to answer to God. We should’ve rejoiced, then prayed for peace. At that point, 5,493 service people had been killed, thousands more had been wounded. We should’ve remembered the 9/11 victims and all that chaos and destruction. It was truly an historic day. Justice had been served. And for a brief moment during the Obama Administration, America was united.
But after an entire year of Public Gloating at the White House, Noted New Hampshire Political Reporter Manchester Tadwell says Monday night in Portsmouth, Obama again defended his campaign ad that suggested Mitt Romney would not have ordered the bin Laden raid, and at Tuesday’s briefing, White House Spoke Dweeb Jay Cardboard claimed a thorough investigation by White House investigators and the same White House counsel who cleared all of those White House staffers of any problems in Columbia last month, had shown the administration’s handling of the one-year anniversary as “entirely appropriate,” even as Navy SEALs were slamming Obama for using them as “ammunition” in his blatant bid to take full credit for bin Laden killing.
Rush Limbaugh says this might be a good place for an updated “Wag the Dog” reference, but these days, somebody would have to explain why Obama wasn’t eating it.
Now This Week in Edward Cropper’s Washington
(See more of Edward Cropper’s work here.)
- In Columbus, Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says political insiders are waiting to see if Ohio RINO Party Boss Boob Bennett is having so much fun reuniting Republicans in all 88 Ohio counties this week that he forgets to produce some effective folderol to rebut that big Demo-Labor Rally for Obama and Michelle in Columbus on Saturday. The Obama campaign was set to go on the air with fresh TV commercials in Ohio on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, local Tea Party Patriots have things so under control, this weekend they’ll be trekking to Indianapolis to rally for Richard Mourdock, who’s running in next Tuesday’s Indiana Primary against 36-year RINO incumbent Dick Lugar. Would this be before, or after they demonstrate against Obama in Columbus?
- John Becker, an obscure GOP State Rep-tile candidate from Clermont County, has endorsed Rob “Fighting for Fund-raisers” Portman for Mitt Romney’s running mate. Never in the annals of suck-upery have we seen anything quite so blatant.
- And this just in from Connie Schultz’s FaceBook page: Dear candidates: If your parents are college graduates with white-collar careers, you don’t have working-class roots. I have to explain this?
So, Mrs. Sherrod Brown, a former so-called “journalist” who is “on leave” from the Cleveland New Dealer after she was caught performing campaign work for her husband while on company assignment, is complaining that candidates whose parents graduated college can’t possibly have “working-class roots.” Her husband claims to be from the working class all the time and actually wears pins from the mine workers union from time to time. Perhaps Mrs. Brown is totally unaware that her husband’s father was a MEDICAL DOCTOR. Or perhaps she is unaware that medical doctors attend college and are considered white collar. Or is she just, once again, beclowning herself to advance her liberal agenda and her husband’s political career?
The Cincinnati City Mess You Will Only Read About Here
- In August, 2011, North College Hill High School graduate Everette Howard, 18, was tasered by a University of Cincinnati security officer at his dorm. The teenager was taking college preparatory classes during a summer session at UC before he was to enter the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky in the fall. Howard died at University Hospital of cardiac arrest as a result of the tasering.
In the face of the Howard incident, the University immediately named a new chief of police and director of public safety, controversial old broken-down Cincinnati police officer Michael Cureton. Some have said Cureton, an African American, was appointed by UC solely because of his race in order to lesson and cushion the impact of the murder of Everette Howard, also an African American. Cureton, known for his contentious, volatile, and erratic work, was a terrible choice made by UC in its scrambling haste to cover over the Howard case. In addition, they gave Cureton an astronomical salary.
The Coroner’s office contends they have withheld a final report because they are still doing “testing”, which they refuse to identify, nine months after the fact. No one believes that meme. There are two possible reasons, or a combination of the two, for the horrendous delay from the Coroner’s office: 1) It’s a political and power move aimed at keeping the University of Cincinnati from being charged in the teenager’s death, or 2) the employees in the Coroner’s office are trying to make Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco look like a fool. And Dr. Sammarco sits on her ass in her off, indeed looking like a fool, allowing the dignity of the office of the coroner to be destroyed.
The entire matter has been politicized to the hilt. The Hamilton County Coroner’s office, after nine months since Everette died, has still not bothered to issue a final coroner’s report. This political cover up has continued even with a new coroner, Lakshmi Kode Sammarco being appointed to that job by Hamilton County DemocRATS.
- Speaking of da police, our useless and ignorant Cincinnati chief of police, James Craig is ecstatic about all the TV coverage he’s getting through his paid University of Phoenix commercials.
However, it’s been revealed Phoenix has discovered some of its students enroll in their program just to receive discretionary United States government Pell Grant money, rarely attending any classes at all. How often has the useless and ignorant Cincinnati police chief attended Phoenix classes? We know he often heads to the airport, but that may be to visit him real home in Los Angeles, California, where he’s a legal resident.
- In even more craziness, the supposedly broke Failed Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education decided Monday to take out a $26.8 million loan to “green” 28 schools. The only green those fools should be thinking about is the color of the money they waste each year. And now, they are compounding that by $26.8 million dollars. Irresponsible idiots!
Sex in Schools
- The McMason Schools Sex-capades continue. Actually, they never stopped, even after the sleazy sex and drugs superintendent Kevin Bright skipped town to a lower paying job in northern Ohio with the advent of the Stacy Schuler sex crimes with high school boys and McMason administrators.
Under the lack of leadership of new McMason superintendent Gail Kissed-Kline (shown here in case you’ve never seen her before), it has been revealed two professional staff members were caught indulging in sex at the high school during school hours. Is anyone surprised? Jason Austerman and Kimberly Rowland were observed in the midst of traditional McMason Schools sex capades by other staff members. McMason spokesbabe Tracey Carson, who pulls in $155,000 per-nine-months for doing not much work, but she wears nice f-me heels, said, “We hate it when that happens.” Yeah, Tracey, you should know about illicit sex, all right.
Both Austerman and Rowland resigned. By doing so, this allowed them to claim a clear record to go on to another school and continue their adulterous behavior there.
“Is it OK for a War Hero to Say Something?”
- At yesterday’s Special Bin Laden Killing Anniversary Meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Charles Foster Kane why we had seen no public comments from Congressman “Bronze Star Brad” Wenstrup about either the killing of Osama Bin Laden or Obama’s surprise campaign visit to the war zone in Afghanistan on Tuesday.
Obviously,” Kane explained. “Bronze Star’s” brand new campaign manager is just as clueless as that high-ranking member of “Bronze Star Brad’s” campaign who was pulled over on Election Night by the Newtown Police and given a warning for DUI.”
Bluegrass Bifocals
- Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says all seven candidates for Goof Doofus’ seat in Congress (Thomas Massie, Judge Once Moore, Brian D. Oerther, Alecia Webb-Edgington, Tom Wurtz, Marcus Carey, and Walter C. Schumm) shared their vision for government before an underflow audience Monday night at NKU. It was obvious that they all needed glasses. With only 20 more days until the May 22 Primary, that newly formed SuperPAC (Americans for Growth, Opportunity, and Prosperity) is supporting Tea Party favorite Thomas Massie. Does that now make him the “Favorite?”
- Also on Monday night, Vanilla Hills Vigilantes listened intently to a $50,000 presentation from NoKY Attorney Phil Taliaferro that concluded Villa Hills’ Mayor Mike Martin has been operating as an electrician in Kentucky without a license and lied about which city documents he ordered to be illegally destroyed in January. So why wasn’t Martin lynched immediately after the meeting? Did one of the Vigilantes forget to bring the rope?
- Dr. Kendall Hansen’s Kentucky Derby horse is also named “Hansen.” Is that a coincidence or what?
- Finally, the CamBoozler says May 2 is always “Brothers and Sisters Day.” No kidding. It’s a day you’re supposed to cherish your siblings, even if you’ve disowned them. Our Good Friend Bobby Leach says people in Kentucky always inappropriately touch their relatives on Thanksgiving, since it’s a good day to pump kin.
