Today’s Good News And Bad News
From Our Local Political Junkie We’ll Call “Cincy Dave”

image009REALLY BAD NEWS FOR TRUMP

Four women have come out to accuse The Donald of groping them or kissing them against their will.   They will all be believed in light of the now famous video released last week of him bragging about being able to do just that with impunity.   Of course, Trump and his campaign have vigorously denied it and threatened to sue The New York Times, who first broke the story but it is too big to contain.   It’s beginning to look a bit like what happened to Bill Cosby – once one woman was taken seriously, every woman that ever had a similar experience is going to come out.

To make matters worse, CBS reported on an Entertainment Tonight video of Trump talking to a young girl in which he says, “I’m going to be dating her in ten years, can you believe it?”  More here:

TRUMP AND THE BEAUTY PAGEANTS
Released audio of Trump on Howard Stern’s radio program shows him bragging about being able to walk into the dressing rooms full of naked women.   Now we have a former Miss Arizona telling everyone about it.

ARE TRUMP’S POLL NUMBERS COLLAPSING?
A Washington Post article details what happened to a Wisconsin poll which was conducted before and after the release of the Pussygate Video.  Similar results can be expected in most other swing states.  The full article is here:  image004

BAD NEWS FOR HILLARY
image012Protesters at Hillary rallies accuse Bill Clinton of rape.  Meanwhile, she decries Trump’s “scorched earth” tactics.

LAST DEBATE
The third and final presidential debate, to be held at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, will take place on Oct. 19. Fox News’ Chris Wallace will be the sole moderator. Yesterday, Wallace announced that the 90-minute debate would be divided into six 15-minute segments, one each on the following topics:

  • Debt and entitlements
  • Immigration
  • The economy
  • The Supreme Court
  • Foreign hotspots
  • image011The candidates’ fitness to be president

The most important of these may be the Supreme Court because whoever is appointed to the court can last for 3 or 4 decades.   The most interesting will be the last one though.  Hillary has plenty of ammunition to show that she is fit (qualified) and of course she should bring up The Donald’s recent problems regarding women and how he describes many other groups.  Trump will probably try to counter by bringing up Bill Clinton, who isn’t a candidate, and Hillary’s real or imagined health issues.

TODAY’S STATE POLLS
This is the about the worst result for Trump in Ohio that we have seen.   It looks like a lot of former Trump supporters may be favoring Libertarian Gary Johnson.image006
