  • OUR NUMBER TWO “GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN FARCE” STORY THIS WEEK was when a man became an Instant Celebrity after doing the impossible, actually successfully enrolling In ObamaCare, and was interviewed by WaPo, Politico, HuffPo, Politico, and WSJ. But the Instant Celebrity ObamaCare applicant turns out to be and OFA Volunteer, President Of “Young DemocRATS” Group who texts with Obama White House Spoke Dweeb Jay Cardboard and whose Premium jumped 300% because of the law. Then the Instant Celebrity’s Father said his son didn’t sign up for ObamaCare and the Instant Celebrity confirmed he did not buy insurance through ObamaCare.
  • AND OUR NUMBER THREE “GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN FARCE” STORY THIS WEEK was when the House voted 407-0 to approve retroactive back pay for Obama-Supporting Government Employees who are not receiving a paycheck because of the government shutdown. (But Not For Veterans, Parks Or Kids With Cancer).  The Blower told you the whole things was a farce!
  • MONDAY in our Special “Shutdown Dance” E-dition, The Blower said, “Not To Worry—Obama And Congress Will Still Be Paid!”

image010And Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says everybody in Washington is doing the Government Shutdown Dance:

Last week John Boehner’s House Republicans dared to defy Obama and passed a bill that would continue funding the government at current spending levels for nearly three months, but would strip money appropriated to fund ObamaCare. Then Harry Reid’s Senate DemocRATS stripped the defund language from the continuing resolution, and three the hot potato back to the House. Saturday night, House Republicans amended the temporary spending bill that would avert a government shutdown to include a delay of ObamaCare by one year, and sent the bill back to the Senate, where DemocRATS have threatened to reject it, and Obama has promised to veto it, when he comes in from the golf course, while Obama’s OFA Organization keeps busy dunning people for $5 donations before the big fundraising deadline on September 30.

Which makes it look like come Tuesday morning, we might actually have one of those government shutdowns people in Washington always threaten, but never follow through with, while all Members of Congress have agreed to make themselves available for TV interviews 24/7 throughout  the Shutdown Crisis.

Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee chose Ronald Reagan’s “Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them.”

Hurley the Historian says on this day in 1918, President Woodrow Wilson gave a speech to Congress in support of Women’s Suffrage, because although the House of Representatives had approved a 19th constitutional amendment giving the right to vote, the Senate had yet to vote on the measure.

Happy Partial Government Shutdown, Everybody!

image013Anybody who thought the Federal Government wouldn’t be shutting down on October 1 should have his head examined. The media have only been hyping it for weeks, especially watching all those cheering crowds counting down on Times Square waiting for John Boehner’s balls to drop at midnight.

Actually it’s not a Real Government Shutdown at all. It’s more like a “Slimdown,” since only “non-essential” government employees were told not to report to work. And if the White House Chef isn’t essential, we don’t know who isn’t. Then there are all those DC employees the DemocRAT DC Council deemed “essential,” every last one of them.

The Media narrative had already been chiseled in stone for the October 1 official kickoff of the DemocRATS’ 2014 Campaign, because everybody knows even partial government shutdowns are always Republicans’ fault. DemocRATS are the Party of Big Government. They can never be blamed for hurting something they so clearly worship and adore. And if D-RATS call Republicans liars, hostage-takers, terrorists, and even murderers, nobody in the press will ever worry about how this cheapens our national discourse, or could perhaps could even lead to violence from people who take Demonic DemocRAT rhetoric a bit too seriously.

Vets Take DC War Memorial Just Like Omaha Beach

image015Tuesday an “Honor Flight” of our proud WWII and Korean War Veterans were in DC to see their memorials. The guards said the memorials were closed because of Obama’s Partial Government Shutdown. The chaperones and whell chair pushers told the guards to shove it, removed the “Barrycades,” and took their Vets to see the memorials anyway. With Republican Congressmen leading the charge, some of the Vets must have wondered what the hell they had fought and died for.

Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says yesterday The Blower pointed out Obama Supporters in the Press couldn’t stop obsessing over Tuesday’s Government Shutdown, even though it was only a “Slimdown” not a real Shutdown. But the real story two days ago was the ObamaCare Lunch Disaster. Wall Street even shrugged off Obama’s “Shutdown” Tuesday when it reclaimed half of Monday’s Shutdown Scare Losses, but the DemocRAT-controlled Senate didn’t shut down so they could vote to keep their illegal ObamaCare Subsidy.

Tuesday after Obama and the Disingenuous DemocRATS shut down the Government, we were expecting to see such headlines as “Republicans Shut Down Government, Nation Descends into Riots, Looting, and Cannibalism.” But Obama Supporters in the Press were forced to spend their time reporting all those ObamaCare failures on Shutdown Day. No wonder Obama supporters were so tight-lipped about the myriad of enrollment problems and the Obama Administration wouldn’t release the number of new Obamacare enrollees on opening day, while Twitter was exploding with tweets from disappointed Obama voters who woke up Tuesday morning and realized that instead of getting “affordable healthcare,” they would instead have to pay a fee for not having insurance.

A couples of says ago, the Deranged DemocRAT Senate Majority was forced to explain what he meant when he said “We wouldn’t want to help one kid with cancer.”

Maybe Dingy Harry is just following Obama’s lead, after our Blamer-in-Chief claimed TEA Party Extremists closed the Statue of Liberty. While Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen said, “More Americans blame Obama than the TEA Party for the Government Shutdown.”

Obama’s Vice President Joe Biden actually told a Park Ranger “I’m Proud of You” for blocking access to the WWII Memorial after the National Park Service is trying using barbed wire to reinforce those “Barrycades” so Veterans can’t get in to visit the WWII Memorial while trying to shutdown Mount Vernon, even thought George Washington’s birthplace is privately funded. An angry Park Ranger said, “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”

Nutty Nancy Pelosi told Republicans “Take Back Your Party” from Evil Conservatives. Delirious DemocRAT Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee claimed the Government Shutdown drove that “Poor” Black dental hygienist from Connecticut with a history of mental issues who was shot by Capitol Police after ramming through a “BarryCade” while Nattering Nabobs of Negativism in the Liberal Media blamed the shooting of that Black Woman on the TEA Party and the NRA, hope Republican Leaders were shot while the White House defends Obama’s use of violent “Gun To Head” Rhetoric.

Obama’s White House Press Dweeb Jay Cardboard couldn’t stop whining after Obama had to cancel his trip to Asia because of those Hateful Republicans. Conservative Commentator Allen West says, “Sorry Mr. President you have to stay here with us sappy Americans.” Obama spend Day Three of his Shutdown sitting for his Presidential Portrait.

Millions of low-income Americans won’t receive coverage. Many workers at small businesses won’t get a choice of insurance plans right away. Large employers won’t need to provide insurance for another year. Far more states than expected won’t run their own insurance marketplaces. And a growing number of workers won’t get to keep their employer-provided coverage.  Do you think all our Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama-Supporers will ever notice the difference?
  • THE CINCINNATI MESS (You’ll only read about in The Blower): Some Cincinnati Police Officers found Carrie Blackmore Smith’s puff piece interesting about new Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell’s willingness to listen to his advisors about what changes needed to be made at the CPD.

image034Which is probably a good thing, since how would he ever know that change is necessary in an agency when one knows absolutely nothing about the agency, the community, the city, the people, the culture, or the personnel he’s now supposed to be managing. Such assumptions with no specific information or hard evidence is simply a recipe for bullshit! Forming a committee to learn what is necessary to change with a commitment to listen is another way of saying, “I don’t have a clue what I’ve inherited or what to do with it!”  The Blower remembers when Ron Twitty (who left the Cincinnati Police Department amid scandal in 2004) being quoted in The Fishwrap after being fired telling all, “I’m working on a plan!”  This was in reference to the then rising tide of violence in the city.  No specific information or concrete examples of a plan were offered, but the media anxiously awaited the positive results.  Well…Citizens of Cincinnati are still waiting for “the plan” though it’s only been ten years now.  This will be much the same until something controversial occurs. Then the blame game will begin anew!  Disgraced Former Fourteen-Star Police Chief James Craig blamed difficulties on previous administrations.  Sound familiar?  You’ll hear it again!

  • MEANWHILE IN COLUMBUS, Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says Former President George W. Bush was on hand in Dublin when The Ohio State Band kicked off opening ceremonies for the Presidents Cup at Muirfield Village. “Boy, do we miss you,” a fan called out after the crowd chanted “43, 43” when Bush was introduced.
  • image036DEMOCRAT VOTER FRAUD UPDATE: Republicans for Higher Taxes comment on the discovery that a prominent Roxanne Qualls supporter engaged in vote fraud by voting for her in September’s primary, even though he apparently hasn’t lived in Cincinnati for several years.  Randy Simes has lived, worked, and voted in Chicago as of late, and lived in Atlanta and Korea as well over the past few years, but not in Cincinnati. Republicans for Higher Taxes applauds Randy’s enthusiasm and says that they would recruit votes from the dead to elect Foxy Roxy if that’s what it takes.
  • WHISTLEBLOWER SENIOR SPOILED SPORTS EDITOR ANDY FURBALL says one person who won’t be missed will be Finally Fired Former Reds Manager Dusty Baker, who won’t be back again to disappoint Reds Fans in 2014. Ken Broo called the play-by-play: “He’s outta here, Dusty’s waaaay outta here.” Rush Limbaugh scooped The Fishwrap too when he reported Dusty blamed his firing on “Racism,” since the under-achieving Reds Manager was getting all that hate mail comparing him to Obama.”
  • TRASH TALKING: Conservative Curmudgeon Stu Mahlin says Saturday’s Fishwrap reports that the new trash collection rules “…are part of a package aimed at saving the city $25 million a year,” and that private trash haulers will be held up to the tune of 10% of their earnings. ICMA publications suggest that, along with roads and water, sanitation (sewerage and trash collection) is among the most basic of city services.  Cutting down on the basics is malfeasance at best.  If the Mensa Mob at City Hall needs to save $2.5 million a year, why not start with doing away with non-basic, non-essential “services” like sidewalk inspections?  The sidewalk banditos shake down property owners in Hyde Park almost every year in the name of “safety,” while virtually every other City neighborhood is left alone. 
  • image038IN ANDERSON: For weeks The Blower has been calling attention to The Forest Hills Urinal’s cover-up of their endorsed candidate Disgraced Township Trustee Kevin “Big Spanky” O’Brien’s Capital One lawsuit, the lawsuit by the guy who unfortunately bought Kevin’s house, Kevin’s impending bankruptcy, and the latest lawsuit filed September 4 by his former best friend Greg Delev in Probate Court on behalf of Emily Teeter Wright, accusing Whacky Jackie O’Brien’s Illegitimate Son Kevin of stealing money from her father’s trust fund. Luckily for Kevin, when Lisa Wakeland finally got around to covering the story, it was buried on Wednesday’s front page where Anderson Residents have become accustomed not to look for any important township political news. Lisa missed Judge Cheryl Grant’s summary judgment ruling for Capital One against Kevin “Spanky” O’Brien in the amount of $6,306.34 and accruing interest at 3%.
  • FROM THE GREAT WHITE NORTH: NoTaxJack says Lebanon Schools Superintendent Mark North is paid $123,917.08 per year, not including all his perks, and boy there are a lot of them. He works 252 days a year, and that number includes his vacation days. That figures out to $491.73 per day.  Isn’t that about what John Kasich makes for running the entire state of Ohio?  That’s Reason Number 3,021 to vote NO on any school levy in Lebanon.

  • image039FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE (AND THEN SOME): Bluegrass Bureau Chief Kern CamBoo says not only can dead people vote in Northern Kentucky, but now they get Free Health Care, since according to the Daily Caller, ObamaCare can help dead people in Kentucky, where application forms for the state’s new ObamaCare benefit exchange asks if the application is for someone who has recently died. Question 39 on the kynect: Kentucky’s Healthcare Connection printable application form for a single person health seeking either coverage or help paying costs, states: “If you are filling out this application on behalf of a person who recently passed away, enter the deceased person’s date of death.”

Maybe that’s why Kentucky Republican Senators Bitch McConnell and Rand Paul blasted Steve BeShear after reading the Doofus DemocRAT Governor’s “Ode to ObamaCare” in the New York Times, saying, “We agree with Governor BeShear that Kentucky needs health reform. But we strongly disagree that ObamaCare is the answer. As so often happens when our friends on the left set out to fix a problem, their ideas, however well-intentioned, end up hurting the very people they sought to help. That’s just what we’re seeing with ObamaCare.”

Something else BeShear forgot to include in his “Ode to ObamaCare” was the fact that the Kentucky ObamaCare marketplace has no “expectation of privacy,” warning its prospective customers that their information can be monitored and shared with government bureaucRATS. When clicking “let’s get started” on the state-run health insurance marketplace “kynect,” the user is quickly prompted to a “WARNING NOTICE.” [READ MORE HERE]

  • image044AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA:  Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane how long he thought the so-called Government Shutdown would last. “Who cares?” Kane asked. “When you live in Anderson Township, you have to pay for your own garbage collection, so what difference does make whatever those clowns in Washington do. I can’t think of a single problem this group has ever solved.

Monday everybody will waiting to see if Obama  is still insisting he will not negotiate major budget issues with Congressional Republicans until they vote to reopen the government and to lift the debt ceiling, and we’ll still be counting down the 1,201 days remaining until Obama’s “historic” Third Term begins.
