AND THE BLOWER’S NFL BOYCOTT WILL RESUME FIRST THING TOMORROW

Just another Guest ColumnEnough With The Super Bowl Hype Already

image004The Blower remembers when Forbes contributor Howard Cole said, “Two weeks between Championship Sunday and the Super Bowl is too much. It’s just too much!
“It’s too much hype, it’s too much media, it’s too much about the halftime show, it’s too much commercialism and it’s just too damn much!
“It’s two weeks’ time filled up with everything except football. Enough with Super Bowl hype! For God’s sake, let’s tee it up already.

“Look, I don’t care how many avocados it takes to screw in a Super Bowl party, OK, so spare me the numbers courtesy of the Guac Council yet again. The price of a 30 second Super Bowl spot is no longer need-to-know stuff. It’s expensive. I get it.”

The Blower says you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. They’ve only begun to hype!

Now Let’s Meet Today’s Guest Editor

image007It’s none other than noted huckster P.T. Tadwell, who always says, “Without hype, something terrible happens… nothing!” Other hypsters on the Whistleblower Hype Squad include our Senior Spoiled Sports Editor Andy FurBall, Plummet Mall Developer Jerry Galvin, Hypemeister Bobby Leach, and Bill Meister, whom Mike Allen once called “a very industrious young man,” before Hamilton County had ever met Blinking Becky.

That’s why The Blower, which never met a Hype it didn’t like, is pleased to P.T. to be our Conservative Agenda Guest Editor sometime soon and choose three hype-worthy items plus a Quickie to hype for  that day’s E-dition from those submitted by our Current Cadre of Conservative Columnists and Plagiarizing Contributors.image003SUPER BOWL HYPE HOT LINE
