Forest Hills Apocalypse Double Down

The Forest Hills School Board guaranteed the continuation of their long losing streak by extending Superintendent Scot Prebles’ employment contract in last night’s woke board meeting.

Here’s a guy who looked for another job and couldn’t get one. Since he had a contract there was nothing for him to lose from looking. Still isn’t.

Once again, we have a superintendent without any skin in the game. Just cashing the checks. Protecting his own kids until graduation.

At least there was one vote of disapproval from the five board members. The rest folded.

Sound familiar? It should. Same deal as with the last two supers. Any correlation there with board members Heis and Bissinger who also approved both those former contracts? We’d guess they initiated this one. The other two members that voted for it are still rookies without a clue.

Once again, any rising talent that could provide some common sense and fresh energy will be forced to leave or wither in daily routine. No chance for a promotion for five years here.

Once again, a new board coming in with hands tied. What can they do with management contractually entrenched? At least without a scandal or expensive contract buyout.

So, more of the same. The Apocalypse plods relentlessly on.

(Oh. Also an approval in the board meeting of some vaguely-worded motion with the words “lawsuit” and “Anderson” in it. It was followed by a statement in Pelosi-fashion about the public finding out later what’s really in it. We’ll guess. Money. Outgoing. Because of mismanagement of the building levy funds. We hope we get to find out about it. But things like this usually go straight into the file cabinet.)

Why Is It The Only Place Forest Hills Voters Ever Find Out What’s Really Going On In Their School District is In The Apocalypse?
