Trump Wins Thursday’s Debate In Des Moines!

image005Hawkeye Bureau Chief Jan Michelson says today on campaign trail in Iowa, everybody’s talking about how Donald Trump’s campaign says the Republican Presidential Primary front-runner plans to boycott the Fox News/Google debate on Thursday. Instead, The Trumpster says he will appear at another event to raise money for Veterans and Wounded Warriors.

image005How brilliant was that? It makes him the center of attention. Drudge will still declare Trump the winner of Thursday’s Debate. Instead of focusing on policy issues, reports will probably focus on the amount of money raised for veterans and speculation on how many viewers (and dollars) FOX lost. It surely looks like another win for The Trumpster.

image005Bloomberg reports Trump isn’t the first top-tier presidential candidate to skip a debate. Ronald Reagan did not attend a Republican debate ahead of the 1980 Iowa caucuses, which he lost to George H.W. Bush. Reagan went on to the win the nomination and the presidency. In fact, Reagan went on to win in a landslide.

image005Curiously, at this morning’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Charles Foster Kane to compare Trump’s latest antics in Iowa with what happened with the Reagan campaign in Iowa, where the Reagan Campaign flew our Beloved Whistleblower Publisher to Iowa to help map out media strategy for that upcoming campaign. “I spent a year in Iowa that one day,” Kane explained, because Trump’s strategy to miss that last debate before the Iowa Caucuses just like Reagan did is “just a coincidence.” No Kidding!image008image009
