Not Ready for Refuge

image008At yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, everybody was wondering if Cincinnati is a “DemocRAT Sanctuary City” because of all that great publicity Obama’s DemocRAT Sanctuary Cities have been getting these days for sheltering illegal immigrants.

image016“Cincinnati’s not even on the map as far as long-time Dumbed Down D-RAT Controlled Sanctuary Cities are concerned,” explained Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane. “Sanctuary Cities must follow certain procedures that shelter illegal immigrants, like not permitting municipal funds or resources to be applied in furtherance of enforcement of federal immigration laws.  These cities normally do not permit police or municipal employees to inquire about one’s immigration status. The designation of Sanctuary City has no legal meaning.”   Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane’s boyhood hero WVXU’s Howard Wilkinson even says “Cincinnati May Call Itself A ‘Sanctuary City,’ But It’s Not.”

image016image012Some of America’s largest cities say they are going to remain so-called sanctuary cities even though they risk being cut off financially by the federal government once Donald Trump takes office. As part of his immigration plan, President-elect Trump has pledged to block federal funding to these cities within his first 100 days. Sanctuary cities generally have laws or policies in place that limit how much local law enforcement cooperates with federal immigration officials when it comes to searching for and detaining undocumented immigrants. “Block funding for sanctuary cities. We block the funding. No more funding,” Trump said in August when he laid out his immigration plans at a rally in Phoenix. “Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive over-taxed payer dollars.”

image016The Center for Immigration Studies published an interactive map in August identifying the cities, towns and counties that have so far protected at least 17,000 criminal illegals instead of handing them over to federal authorities. Of those, 11,800 have prior criminal records.  CLICK TO SEE THE INTERACTIVE MAP OF THESE SANCTUARY CITIES

image014image016“Across the U.S., there are over 300 cities, counties, and states that are considered ‘sanctuary cities.’ These jurisdictions protect criminal aliens from deportation by refusing to comply with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement detainers or otherwise impede open communication and information exchanges between their employees or officers and federal immigration agents,” said the analysis from experts. Jessica M. Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Center, said that the newest sanctuaries are in Kentucky, three near Lexington and one near Cincinnati.

“The last time we checked our news sources, several cities in Ohio were already not cooperating with Federal officials,” said Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders. Unlike Butler County where Sheriff Richard Jones appears to be following the law, The Columbus Dispatch said illegal aliens in misdemeanor cases were not reported to ICE. The Dayton Daily News said the Police chief prohibited his officers from asking about immigration status. In Lima, the City administration opposed the County Sheriff’s efforts to remove illegal aliens, and Lorain Police Chief Celestino Rivera ordered (by written policy) his officers not to cooperate with ICE, just to mention a few.”

Maybe Cincinnati is just a little behind the times about giving Sanctuary to Illegal Immigrants, because Our Nine Fine Clowns at City Hall haven’t passed a resolution to get their names in The Fishwrap lately. Remember that old quote about wanting to be in Cincinnati when the End of the World comes, because it’s always ten years behind the times.

image016image010“I’m not sure the City of Cincinnati would want to get too much into giving Sanctuary to Illegal Immigrants,” added Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen. “Following that murder of a young woman in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant from Mexico, voters want to get tough on so-called ‘D-RAT Sanctuary Cities’ that refuse to enforce immigration laws.”

“You’re probably right,” Kane concluded. “You saw what happened last year when Mayor Cranley, City Mangler Harry Black, and Ex-Police Chief Blackwell tried to give D-RAT Sanctuary to Black Thugs after Cincinnati’s Fourth of July Fountain Square Beatdown left a white man beaten and bloody on at the hands of a mob of “Unruly” Black Yoofs.”
