The Anderson Veterans Society says says reveille will be at 0530 Monday morning where Veterans of all races, creeds, and sexual orientations can begin boarding the busses for Anderson Township’s Sixth Annual Veterans Day Grub Crawl at Ohio Second District Congressman’s Office, located at 7954 PFC James Miller IV and Staff Sergeant Richard T. Pummill Memorial Highway (aka Beechmont Avenue), so Anderson Veterans can visit every one of the 487 area restaurants in Anderson and the surrounding tri-state areas offering Free Food for Veterans on Veterans Day 2019.image006

WLW Phony Patriot Bill Cunningham says Freeloaders Pretending to be Veterans couldn’t believe all the free meals they could scarf down on Veterans Day.

TCBY Veterans Day Free Frozen Yogurt (Monday, November 11, 2019)

Friendly’s Free Veterans Day Meal (Monday, November 11, 2019)
Friendly’s is giving veterans and active military a free Veterans Day breakfast, lunch, or dinner (dine-in only) on Monday, November 11.
If you come in the morning for breakfast, the Veterans Day free meal is the Big-Two-Do, which comes with your choice of Brioche French toast, two buttermilk pancakes or two slices of toast, two strips of crispy Applewood-smoked bacon or two sausage links, and a side of two made-to-order farm fresh eggs. Also included is a cup of coffee.
For lunch and dinner, veterans and active service members get the All-American Burger (with or without cheese) served with fries and your choice of soda, iced tea, or a hot beverage.

Among the non-food freebies, Great Clips is giving anyone who gets a haircut on November 11 a card that a veteran or active-duty military service member can later use for a free haircut; We’e not sure if Meineke  offers free oil changes with military ID on Veterans Day; or if Veterans can have their fatigues starched at Andy Pappas’ Cleaner Concepts; but at Yellowstone and every other National Park, admission is free for everyone on November 11, but you still have to pay for your membership to the Anderson Dog Park on Kellogg Avenue.

image005Only in The Blower are people able to read about how local Veterans can also pig out on Veterans Day Eve at the Patriot Center, 6660 Clough Pike, where the Anderson Township Veterans Memorial Committee will be providing a complimentary dinner, cash bar and live entertainment last year by Vocalpaooza, a multi-genre musical extravaganza,whatever the hell that is. Dinner was provided by Belterra and Dessert will be donated by Mt. Washington Care Center.
