Special “Weekly Whistleblower Limerick Contest” E-dition

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27, 2017

Making Trump Talk Great Again
This week, everybody who can hardly get over how much good a new President can do for the country in during his first seven days, e-mailed an entry to the Whistleblower Limerick Contest.

The winner was that Person Of Consequence (Probably not Kellyanne) who was included among all these Senior White House Staffers being sworn in on Sunday.

Our Long-Time Whistleblower Subscriber wins an “I’m Not The Whistleblower Snitch” T-Shirt, our pledge to keep his identity completely anonymous, and a new seven-year, fifty-one-week free subscription to The Blower. His winning entry is:

Our new president we’ll call Donald Trump
Saw his poll ratings get a bit of a bump.
Because during his first week
He was on hot streak
And his speeches sounded like he was still out on the stump.

And from our Anderson Laureate, who wonders what are we going to do with all those old limericks we used during the Obama years:

Our new president we’ll call Donald Trump
The media still says he’s a big chump
But he won’t play their game
Press briefings will never be the same
When he gives them all a good kick in the rump.

The first line of next week’s limerick is:
“At our Groundhog’s Day party this year.”
