Another “Comparative Countdowns” E-dition

Our countdown clock showing how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds we have remaining until Donald Trump can begin to undo all the damage Obama’s done to America during the last eight years.

And at the same time, we’re remembering what was happening on January 12, 2009, when there were only eight more days until Obama could begin damaging the country.

Great Taste, Less Vulgar!

In the past, The Blower has sometimes used unsavory language to make a point. We can’t count the number of times we’ve used the term “Bull Shit.” Lately somebody told us it was not necessary to use such crude language, and we started using the term “BS.”

Q. What did we really mean when we used that expression?

A. We meant that something was ridiculous, or idiotic, or a half truth, or just stupid. It covered any number of negative formats.

At yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane explained that The Blower would no longer be using vulgar expression in the future. When we have the need to express those feelings, we will use the word “Obama.”

Let us use it in a sentence: “This item is just a bunch of Obama.” We encourage our readers to do the same. It’s such a good word. It really packs a lot of punch. We are no longer being vulgar. But it clearly expresses our feelings. If enough of us use it, possible we can get the word in the dictionary. And that would be an excellent legacy for the historic first black president of these United States.

After President-elect Obama laid out his outrageous $1 trillion economic stimulus plan, Our Quote for Today Committee Chose GOP House Minority Leader John Boehner’s, “Yes, our economy needs help, but in the end how much debt are we going to pile on future generations?” And who do you think is going to wind up paying the bill?

Hurley the Historian says besides being Revered Former Congressman Bob McEwen’s birthday today, on this date in 1926, the two-man comedy series “Sam ‘n’ Henry” debuted on Chicago’s WGN radio station. Two years later, after changing its name to “Amos ‘n’ Andy,” the show became one of the most popular radio programs in American history. That program evolved to become “Good Times” (where a poor Afro-American family makes) the best of things in the Chicago and “The Jeffersons” (where a nouveau riche, African-American family move into a luxury apartment building) on TV, and will soon be appearing 24/7 on your cable news stations as “The Obama Administration” after Obama’s “historic” coronation in only eight more days.

And for those of you who think that all those Republicans who lost on Election Day when Hamilton County turned “Blue” still haven’t learned their lesson, Award-Winning Photo Illustrator Artis Conception says “It’s Never Too Early For A New Campaign,” since it’ll be time for the 2010 Elections in then-only 659 more days.
