The Good News And The Bad News
From Trumpbasher Tadwell

image005As usual these days, early this morning most of the bad news was for D. Trump. New polls of swing states had Hillary far ahead, 9 points in Ohio, 10 in N. Carolina, 14 in Pa, 14 in Fla. and a whopping 17 points in Michigan. Then good news came when Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen said the tables had turned in this week’s White House Watch, because after trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead. Still, both Kasich and Romney have sent out emails announcing the news about this poll (translation: they are still available if the convention wants them). But for now, the party is still going to be the bride of Frankenstein. What it will take for the convention to actually dump the Trump is for enough delegates to coalesce around some alternative, most likely Romney, but that has its own problems. Most Trump delegates would probably then walk out of the convention, leaving a fractured party to wage the presidential campaign. However, this may be the best course for the party to be able salvage as many Senate seats and House seats as possible because the candidates won’t have to answer for why they or their party is supporting an ogre like DT.

Speaking of supporting, this just came in yesterday. A local station in New York interviewed one of the congressional leaders on Wednesday. He said that Trump “clearly needs to change” and that ”he is not a credible candidate.” Further, he said that Hillary is “an intelligent and capable person.” This is standard language coming from a DemocRAT leader such as Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi, but the reason it is news is that the leader making these statements was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). With party support like that, how can Trump lose?

Today’s new dirt on Trump is that there is more dirt where the Trump University dirt came from. It seems that Trump also established, or rather lent his name to, a previous for-profit educational entity, the Trump Institute. It was run by a couple of shady characters that defrauded “students” out of 2000 dollars a pop by supposing to teach them how Trump’s wealth building schemes worked. Of course, that one collapsed in charges of fraud but apparently, Trump learned nothing from it, as he later did the same thing with the so-called Trump University. As W. Bush would say, “Fool me once, shame on – shame on you – fool me…. can’t get fooled again!”

It is well known by now that the Trump campaign has very little money compared to his opponent. Therefore, the campaign has resorted to trying to raise money overseas. They sent fundraising emails to many of the conservative Members of Parliaments in the U.K., Iceland, Australia and other countries. There is only one tiny problem with this – it is illegal. Federal law prohibits foreigners from donating to political campaigns in the U.S. Apparently, Trump’s people are such amateurs that they don’t know the first thing about election laws. Several complaints have already been filed with the Federal Election Commission, so we surely will hear more about this screw-up. Trump’s defense will be the same as always, “I know nothing, I know nothing!”

Finally, Heaven just sent out an urgent call – They need 18,000 new virgins immediately. USA Today says U.S troops launched a series of airstrikes on Wednesday night near Fallujah in Iraq, killing an estimated 250 ISIL fighters. “The reported strikes occurred south of the city, and are just the latest setback for the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, which continues to suffer devastating defeats just two years after capturing large swaths of Ira … An unnamed U.S. defense official told FOX News that a convoy of ISIL fighters was hit as they tried to leave a neighborhood on the outskirts of Fallujah.”image017 image018
