Racial Healing Update

           Hurley the Historian says on this date in 1992 riots erupted in Los Angeles when those four white LAPD officers were acquitted after being caught on tape beating the bejesus out of Rodney King.  A white truck driver was pulled from his truck and beaten. A news helicopter captured that beating on videotape, and Republican Governor Pete Wilson declared a state of emergency and called in National Guard troops. Were those the good old days or what!

Fast forward to Race Riots in Obama’s America. Headlines from Baltimore included: Black Racist Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings promised justice for a Baltimore man who died in police custody; Baltimore Mayor told police to stand down; Mayor said, “They need Space To Destroy”; Cops pelted by hundreds of bricks; Rioters took selfies with destroyed cop car; Thugs set senior center on fire; Thugs slashed firefighters’ hoses; Cops said thugs were still hurling bricks at them; Several more journalists attacked; Black business owners told rioters which stores were Chinese owned; Cameraman beaten by #BaltimoreRioters, camera stolen; Baltimore mob dragged White man from store, brutally beat him on sidewalk; Baltimore School Superintendent said, “We hope to treat this situation as a teachable moment”; State of emergency declared, National Guard to be deployed, 10 pm curfew starting tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Obama blamed police for instigating RIOTS; Michelle touted the White House’s new “Kailua Blue” China set;  Race Hustler Al Sharpton met with Baltimore Mayor, Ferguson Agitators were also in active in Baltimore, And everyday Americans in Baltimore, Hillary Clinton was “Praying” for you, and Tweeting, too!

Winner of That Day’s Stupid Liberal Liar Award was Baltimore City Council President Jack Young, who apologized for calling rioters “thugs” at a press conference, calling those responsible for the violence “misdirected” youths.

At the same time, Obama Supporters in the Press claimed when Blacks riot, burn police cars, and destroy private property, it’s a “Legitimate Political Strategy.” PMSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson blamed Baltimore riots on Wealth Disparity, Lead Poisoning, Urban Blight, and the Orioles and Ravens; HuffPo said anyone who criticizes Black Lives Matter is a Racist. Amazingly, Privileged White people, who do not understand, might view all of this as a crime or two.

Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee chose Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “The limitation of riots, moral questions aside, is that they cannot win and their participants know it. Hence, rioting is not revolutionary but reactionary because it invites defeat. It involves an emotional catharsis, but it must be followed by a sense of futility.”

And that’s why you will continue to see more Black Race Riots during the next 266 Racially Divided days remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached.
