Special “What’s Right With America” E-dition

AMERICAN HEROES

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2016

Thousands of mourners paid their respects this morning to late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who died last week at age 79.image004

Scalia’s casket arrived at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington shortly after 11 a.m. ET. The late justice’s son, Paul Scalia, delivered Mass for his father, and Justice Clarence Thomas, a longtime friend of Scalia’s, gave a reading from Romans 5:5-11, according to the funeral program.

Chief Justice John Roberts, Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, Samuel Alito, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, retired Justice John Paul Stevens and former Solicitor General Ted Olson were in attendance. Obama’s Vice President Joe Biden and former Vice President Dick Cheney attended, and Texas senator and Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, who served as a law clerk to former Chief Justice William Rehnquist, arrived along with his wife, Heidi.

Several members of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit were there, including Sri Srinivasan and Patricia Millett, who have been floated as Obama’s potential nominees to replace Scalia on the high court.

Obama’s Thousand Points of Spite

Not even waiting for Scalia’s Funeral, the Pettiest President In America History didn’t even bother to come up with a good excuse for snubbing Scalia’s Funeral, because he wanted everybody to know he was blowing it off, and was seen walking from the West Wing into the White House on Friday night, with a binder of potential Supreme Court nominees under his arm. Obama’s White House Propaganda Minister Josh Earnest said the president will spend a significant portion of his weekend reviewing individuals who “may be worthy of consideration.”  ‘I would expect the president will spend a significant portion of his weekend digging into those materials,’ he added.image006

For sure we need to add this to our Official “Scalia Scorecard” where we’re trying to keep track of all of Obama’s Hypocrisy. Because while Obama’s decision not to attend Scalia’s Funeral drew sharp comments from many in the media, both liberal and conservative, Fox News’ Andrea Tantaros had a scathing response, and slammed Obama as “not worthy” of attending the service.image007image003 image008
