“Will We Really Be Celebrating In-Dependence Day on Saturday?”

image013 - Copyimage005Our Annual Fourth of July holiday weekend is almost beginning, and The Blower looks forward to being even more patriotic than usual. Saturday, when political insiders are sitting around the pool celebrating Independence Day at Charles Foster Kane’s estate, some members of the Conservative Agenda might even be asking if the other 364 days this year are still being called “Government Dependence Days” for all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press, since Dependence on the Government is at an all-time high during another summer of our discontent, especially after last year when Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen said only 58% thought the Fourth of July was one of the nation’s most important holidays, only 78% actually knew why we celebrated Independence Day, and only 24% believed the Economy will be stronger next year.

No matter what your side of the political divide, the fact is that the fortunes of politics will ebb and flow, but in the end it is in everyone’s best interests that political power be divided. More to the point, the very reason that our Constitution separates power is to prevent its arbitrary use. Specifically, executive power, since it resides in one individual.
