Gatling Guns? We Don’t Need No Stinking Gatling Guns!

  • image004 - Copy (2)One of our best parts about publishing The Whistleblower Newswire is checking our e-mail first thing in each morning to see some of those vile-and-disgusting snitches and bitches we’ve received from our equally vile-and-disgusting subscribers.
  • Hurley the Historian says on this date in 1876 Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer had a lapse in judgment when he underestimated the number of Indians at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, and also forgot to bring his three Gatling guns because they might slow down his cavalry, not unlike the lapse in judgment Obama exhibited when people told him he was making a big mistake pulling all our troops out of Iraq before the mission had been successfully completed.
  • Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee Chose Custer’s “There are not enough Indians in the world to defeat the Seventh Cavalry.”
  • Not only that, here’s our Joke of the Day: Q: What’s the difference between Custer and Obama? A: That’s what we say— what’s the difference!
  • image006 - Copy - Copy (2)Thom Hartmann says Obama is a modern day version of Custer, because Like Custer, Obama is prideful, self-promoting, lacking empathy, and convinced of the correctness of his actions while engaging in the systematic dispossession and destruction of the 99%’s natural resources, rights, as well as way of life all for the benefit of a few moneyed interests.

He is at his best in this endeavor when he blames the Republicans or otherwise chooses when to employ inaction, all the while bending the laws and the Constitution to suit his further imperialism and accumulation of wealth.  Obama is truly Bill Clinton’s protégé.

  • Somebody else who must feel like he’s surrounded by hostile Indians these days is IRS BOSS JOHN KOSKINEN, who faced another round of heated questioning at a rare Monday night hearing on ex-IRS official Lois Lerner’s missing emails, where lawmakers, led by Republican California Congressman Darrell Issa, ripped into the Commissioner saying, “We have a problem with you and you have a problem with credibility.” Issa accused White House attorney Jennifer O’Connor of being a “hostile witness,” at Tuesday’s hearing where she was subpoenaed to testify on ex-IRS official Lois Lerner’s supposedly lost emails, after the White House initially blocked her from attending. Jennifer apparently needed to be reminded that she didn’t do any work or talk to anybody whose name she could call for the entire six months she was supposed to be working at the IRS.
  • That was after last week’s hearing where Republican Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan called Koskinen a liar over computer hard drive “crashes” supposedly causing emails sought by investigators to be lost, at least for the next 939 more Days of Dishonesty for America remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached.
  • And if you really want to hear a Rat twist and squirm, listen to Republican South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy cut Koskinen’s balls off in a devastating example of what a good cross-examination sounds like.

More Rants and Slants

  • image009 - Copy (2) - CopyTHE BIG JOKE IN CINCINNATI on Monday was when Fearsome Fishwrapper Jason Williams reported a new analysis on the streetcar showed its annual operating deficit will be millions of dollars per year higher than it was projected in December, when city leaders approved moving forward with construction on the 3.6-mile route through parts of Downtown and Over-the-Rhine.  The Money Quote in that story was when Clowncilman Kevin Flynn Flam, no doubt speaking for the rest of the Stupid Streetcar Six, asked, “How they could change significantly between the middle of December and the middle of June?” Especially since it is not even running yet? And where’s all that money supposed to come from?

Also not surprising, the Cincinnati Zoo wants its share of the tax levy that’s being considered to renovate Music Hall and Union Terminal.

  • ANOTHER CLUELESS CORRESPONDENT was Rachel Richardson, whose front-page Fishwrappery on Monday tried to explain how the TEA Party was remaking the GOP from the ground up. She even threw in a quick quote from Andy Pappas, after the Astute Anderson Trustee, himself a successful TEA Party Candidate last November, spent over an hour on the phone with her. Wouldn’t you think somewhere in all those perfunctory paragraphs somebody would have mentioned the way the Liberal News Media continues to denigrate the TEA Party by not capitalizing the word “TEA,” which stands for “Taxed Enough Already?”
  • image010 - Copy (2)CONSERVATIVE CURMUDGEON STU MAHLIN responded to a letter from the president of the Avondale Community Council: “Ms. Milton writes, in part:  “It is time that the Cincinnati region faces the true causes of the problems experienced by these youths. We are facing a breakdown of the black family in Cincinnati and throughout this nation. …  We must … begin to address the fundamental causes of the breakdown of black families.   …[W]e must … begin to take specific action with economic resources to rebuild the black family. …  The leadership of business, faith-based communities, social-service agencies, educational institutions and the like must band together to put an end to joblessness, high-school dropouts, homelessness, the systematic incarceration of certain minorities, and racial discrimination in hiring. There must be an intentional, comprehensive approach to help residents become socially and economically successful; … no such effort exists.”

Ms. Milton’s youthful face suggests that she was not around when Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society/War on Poverty programs were enacted into law and when his Executive Order 11246 commanded Affirmative Action in pay, hiring and job promotion.  She should do some research.  She’ll find that efforts since the mid-1960s to help people become “socially and economically successful” have been massive, gargantuan, and otherwise virtually limitless, and things have only gotten worse, way worse.

  • image013 - CopyAT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA, Political Insiders applauded as Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane introduced the Whistleblowers’ 2014 Summer Interns: Olivia, Damon, Wyatt, Tristan— not a sexist, racist, or homophobe in the bunch. Also, they’re not Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice.
  • JAMES “THE ROCK” BOGEN says, the funny thing about all our legal fees is that we actually tried to halt the two pending cases before the Ohio Supreme Court after Traci Hunter’s indictment, but the Supremes said “No dice.”  This is public record (check the dockets).  Because they said “No dice,” I’ve had to draft and file two more briefs in those cases since my cash cow Ditzy DemocRAT Judge Traci Hunter was indicted.
  • OUR CLERMONT CRUSADER says at last Wednesday night’s Clermont County Central Committee meeting, District 65 State Rep-tile John Becker talked about several bills and how he voted: Becker voted “No” on spending and tax hiking bills such as HB 59 (State Budget), SJR 6 (Infrastructure Bonds), HB 497 (Capital Budget), and HB 375 (Severance Tax). Becker also co-sponsored HB 237 (Kill Common Core), HB 248 (Heartbeat Bill) and signed discharge petitions for both. Becker sponsored HB 234 (Firearm Suppressors for hunting) which passed the Ohio House. So The Blower wondered how Republican State Rep-tile Doug Green representing District 66 voted on those bills. The shocking reality is that the on-line records show that Doug Green is exactly opposite on all of the above. What the hell?
  • image014 - CopyOUR COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATIVE wonders why not send all those illegals marching over the border to the liberal states who see this as an opportunity for under privileged. Send 20,000 to Boston Common and let them camp out and let Massachusetts over-taxed payers take some of the brunt. Ship them to Chicago. Obama’s home is sitting empty and there are probably secret service guarding it. What better spot to watch another 20,000 illegals! Hilary probably wanted siblings for Chelsey, she could pick up a dozen two-year olds from Guatemala. California would welcome 20,000 with open arms in San Francisco. The Land of fruits and nuts always needs more pickers and picketers. Sherrod Brown could take in a a hundred or more in his Cleveland home as his web site says, he’s a champion of the middle class. But The Blower suggests making Mexico our 51st state and moving all the illegals there.
  • MEANWHILE AT THE FAILED CINCINNATI PUBLIC SCHOOLS, Failed Cincinnati Federation of Teachers “president” Julie SellYourSoul reassured teachers at a recent training that her bed-and-breakfast program with FCPS is in full swing.  As SellYourSoul continues to make king size beds for Bored of Educashun members, teachers still wonder when she will come out from hiding under the covers and actually do something.
  • image015 - CopyLONG TIME LOCAL NEWS READER CLYDE GRAY is finally retiring after nearly 24 years at Channel 9 “Substantially True” News. The Blower remembers when Clyde first showed up. We were making fun of Anchorman Randy Little’s hair in those days, as you can see by the item published on June 25, 1991, in Edition #56. [SEE EDITION #56 HERE]
  • FINALLY, IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY, Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo reportsover at the Kenton County Escape Center, Terry “The Smiling Jailer” Carl says, Joseph Hall still hasn’t voluntarily returned since he walked away from a work detail on May 28, and every day Terry personally visits the Northern Kentucky Nudist Camp in Florence to search every crack and cranny, just to make sure his escaped prisoner isn’t there.

image022image018Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Cincinnati Museum Center President and CEO Douglass McDonald, who say please don’t tell your readers how much over-taxed payers will be contributing towards my humongous salary.
