More Foreign Policy Failures

  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1984, Ronald Reagan visited Communist China. The Gipper certainly did a lot better than Obama’s doing on his trip to the Orient these days, where not only did Obama bow to the Japanese Emperor, but he also bowed to a Japanese robot.

How bad is President Obama’s foreign policy? It’s so bad he sent Vice President Biden to Kiev to handle the Russia-Ukraine mess. Joseph Curl at the Washington Times says: “That’s right, Barack ‘Red Line’ Obama called in the bumbling Mr. Biden, the foreign policy ‘expert’ who once called for Iraq to be partitioned by ethnicity into three countries and opposed President Ronald Reagan’s military build-up that ended the Cold War. Uncle Joe didn’t disappoint, saying in Kiev: ‘Thank you for making me feel relevant again.’ He, of course, left empty-handed, and perhaps, again, feels irrelevant.”

Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee chose Ronald Reagan’s, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”

  • image007HURLEY also says CNN reported that on Thursday, for the sixth year in a row, Obama broke his promise to remember the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 1915, marking the slaughter of 1.5 million Armenian Christians by those Murdering Muslim Turks.

But if they needed somebody to comment on the slaughter of 1.5 million Armenian Christians in 1915 by those Murdering Muslim Turks that “must never be forgotten,” why didn’t somebody didn’t ask former Ohio Congresswoman “Mean Jean” Schmidt for her in-depth analysis of the historical event, like she gave when she was deposed by Chris Finney before the Ohio Elections Commission.

Q: What happened in 1915 must never be forgotten?
A: Well, there obviously was an incident that happened in 1915.

Q: And what was that incident?
A: Well, there was something that went on in Turkey that involved Turks and Armenians.

Q: Okay. And what is it that you remember about — or that you know or have an understanding of about those events?
A: Well, I don’t remember them because I wasn’t there.

Q: Right.
A: And I’m still trying to have a complete understanding of those events.

image008Q: I understand that. But you told all the people of Turkey that we shouldn’t forget these events. I’m asking you: What is it that we’re supposed to remember?
A: Well, we shouldn’t forget the past.

Q: And what is it about the events of 1915 that we’re supposed to remember?
A: When I become a scholar of this, I’ll let you know.

Q: Okay. But when you wrote this on June the 4th of 2009, you had no understanding at all of what happened in Turkey in 1915 then; is that right?
A: I said I had limited understanding.

Q: Okay. And I’ve asked you four times this morning to tell us what that limited understanding is, and you’ve told me nothing.
A: Well, basically, that events happened.

image009Q: Events happened. And what were those events?
A: People got killed on both sides. How many people? I don’t know.

Q: And that’s your total sum and substance of your understanding of that event?
A: That’s about the basic understanding, yes.

That testimony was in the case “Mean Jean” brought against David Kevorkian for saying she took blood money from those Murdering Terrorist Turks. Of course, the House Ethics Committee ordered her to repay roughly $500,000 to the Turkish Coalition of America, and now that she’s out of office, we suspect she never intends to!

Can you believe there were people who were glad our Defeated, Corrupt, Evicted, Lying, Plagiarizing, Meddling, Overblown, Bought-And-Paid-For, Tax-And-Spend, Wrinkle-Puss RINO Bitch-In-A-Ditch was ever in Congress? What’s scarier is that there are still people who are unhappy she’s not still in office.

  • CROOKS IN COLUMBUS: Is cheating by the Ohio RINO Party really causing the TEA Party to request Election Day Observers for Primary the Primary Election on May 6? Ohio TEA Party Guy Tom Z says actions taken by Borges’ Burglars during this primary election campaign are so disconcerting to TEA Party groups and the candidates they support, that they are petitioning each County Board of Elections to allow them to appoint observers to the vote counting for the May 6t Primary Election.
  • image011IN ANDERSON: TEA Party Patriots are telling their members how the unprincipled Ohio RINO Party is using ugly-and-distorted print and radio ads to promote State Rep-tile Peter “The Best Money Can Buy” $tautberg whose policies have gotten more people more dependent on more government. Meanwhile, TEA Party endorsed “TaxKiller Tom” Brinkman has unleashed his secret weapon. Loony Libertarian “Jim Berns was seen Wednesday afternoon waving at cars holding a Brinkman sign on the Beechmont Levee.
  • image013SPEAKING OF UGLY CAMPAIGNING: who printed “RINO” on the Boehner sign at Route 747 and Union Center Boulevard in Fairfield?
  • TAKE YOUR DAUGHTERS TO WORK DAY UPDATE: Our Compassionate Conservative says, “We took our girls to The Echo on ‘Take your kids to work day.’ We wanted our daughters to marry rich Hyde Park men so they could eat breakfast at The Echo, play tennis at the club, have their nails done, have their houses cleaned, and return home to be the perfect HP housewife. Work… never.. go to college to meet the right guy and never work again.”

Meanwhile on Friday, Tesla Motors visited Amity Elementary School in Deer Park to introduce the sixth grade class to its electric automobiles. During the last quarter, the sixth grade worked on an energy unit, especially alternative energy, which is why Amity invited Tesla to the school. It sure beats free needles for heroin addicts in the school yard.

Bluegrass Bites

image018Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says he stopped to get something to eat on his way back home from covering a big Primary Election Debate in Northern Kentucky last night and sat next to an older couple at the restaurant.

The old man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.

He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.

He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, ‘That poor old couple – all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.’

As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine – they were used to sharing everything.

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn’t eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said ‘No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.’

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked ‘What is it you are waiting for?’

She answered, “THE TEETH.”

“Family Friendly” By James Jay Schifrin

image025Bring Your Children to Work Day” was celebrated all over Ohio on Thursday, but nowhere more so than at the Patronage County Courthouse, our three family-friendly county commissioners were commemorating the event.

“I remember the first time I brought my son to work on ‘Bring Your Children to Work Day,’ said Commissioner Pilfer. “He had so much fun, it was easy to get him a cushy county government job when he grew up.”

“I used to bring my daughter to work on ‘Bring Your Children to Work Day,’ ” said Commissioner Filch. “And now she’s the director of the Nepotism Department. Today she’s trying to find a $50,000-a-year job for the Party Boss’ ex-wife, so he doesn’t have to pay her alimony.”

“I brought both of my children to work at the courthouse on ‘Bring Your Children to Work Day’ when they were young,” added Commissioner Swindle. “Unfortunately, I’m still doing it every day, because they both still live at home.”
