Special “The Week That Was” E-dition

The Whistleblower Week in Review

  • OUR NUMBER ONE ONGOING OBAMACARE SCANDAL STORY THIS WEEK was when The Foundry reported how last week Charles Krauthammer had dismissed the 7.1 million number of ObamCare enrollees touted by the Obama administration as a “so-called” and “phony number.” “It’s meaningless,” Krauthammer said on “Special Report” on Fox News, “because … we don’t know how many of them have paid, so it’s an enrollment number that’s not enrollment.” “The more important [number] is how many were previously uninsured,” he added.
  • image005OUR NUMBER TWO ONGOING OBAMACARE SCANDAL STORY THIS WEEK was Disgraced DemocRAT Kathleen Sebelius was thrown under the bus and “resigned” in disgrace as Obama’s Failed Pro-Abortion Secretary of Health and Human Service. Obama said, “Heck of a job, Sebby,” who will now “Go down in history” as the worst HHS Secretary ever.  Photoshop Editorial Spoofer Edward Cropper shows us our Kathleen Sebelius’ somewhat reluctant departure.
  • AND OUR NUMBER THREE ONGOING OBAMACARE SCANDAL STORY THIS WEEK was Obama announced his new HHS Secretary Nominee Sylvia Burwell, who was behind Obama’s Government Shutdown Fiasco as the Director of the White House Office of Budget and Management. It was she who sent out the order to shut down the National Parks, the memorials, even the National Zoo’s Panda cam. It was on her order that elderly veterans were shut out from their memorials and others actually thrown out of their homes or businesses that happened to operate in National Parks. At the time, remember how DemocRATS tried to blame the shutdown on Republicans, attacking any effort trying to rein in spending. The shutdown was targeted to hit the most people and to be as public as it could possibly be to maximize effect. But now that the shutdown is over, according to Obama, apparently it was a wonderful thing, which Burwell did, to help reduce the deficit. Fans of those loveable Clintons might best remember Burwell for her role in the Vince Foster Shenanigans.

  • MONDAY in our Special “The Tax Man Cometh”, The Blower said, “Remember when America was founded to avoid taxation?”

Three Quick Fixes

image008Disingenuous DemocRATS and Obama Supporters in the Press may still be blaming President Bush for everything that’s ever gone wrong in America since the Battle of Bunker Hill, but next Tuesday will still be your dreaded TAX DAY and The Blower will now once again offers these three common-sense suggestions to fix our whole tax-and-spending mess:

image010No withholding. No phony refunds. If folks had to write really big checks on TAX DAY, they’d actually know how much they’re paying.

Until we have a simple flat tax without all that paperwork, over-paid Congressmen should be forced to fill out every one of their constituents’ tax forms for free.

Hold EVERY election on TAX DAY!

We wonder if “Bronze Star Brad” Wenstrup or any of those Latter-Day Anti-Taxers you heard speaking two years ago at the Cincinnati TEA Party’s big Tax Day Rally on Fountain Square could ever come up with something as simple as this. If they did, what a wonderful world it would be.

  • TUESDAY in our Special “Tax Freedom Day in Kentucky” E-dition, The Blower said,Free At Last, Free At Last!” and our “Real E-Mails from Real Subscribers” included:

image012Today is Tax Freedom Day in Kentucky. According to our friends at The Tax Foundation, today’s the day in CamBooLand each year you stop working exclusively for the government, because every dollar you’ve earned so far this year will have theoretically gone to pay all of your federal, state, and local taxes for 2014. —Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo

Maybe that’s why we chose Franklin P. Adams’ “Count the day won when, turning on its axis, this earth imposes no additional taxes.” —Your Quote for Today Committee

Many people remember when I said “Taxes shall be levied according to ability to pay. That is the only American principle.” —FDR

  • WEDNESDAY in our Special “Tax Freedom Day Update” E-dition, The Blower said “It’s still nearly two weeks away!”

The First 111 Days Are the Hardest

image015YESTERDAY AT THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane which was his “Favorite Day” in April. “There are so many to choose from,” Kane explained. “So it would be hard to pick a favorite.” But the day we plan to celebrate this year, and so should even all of those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Voters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, is “Tax Freedom Day.” That’s the date our friends at the Tax Foundation say the average US over-taxed payer has worked long enough to pay all of his federal, state, and local taxes for the year.

Tax Freedom Day 2014 arrives on April 21 this year. Coincidentally, that’s three days later than last year and six days after your 2013 taxes are due. The reason it arrives later is due mainly to the country’s continued slow economic recovery, which is expected to boost tax revenue especially from the corporate, payroll, and individual income tax.

That means you’ll need more than three months of your hard-earned wages just to pay your taxes this year. Americans will spend an average of 30.2% of their income on federal, state, and local taxes in 2014. That’s more than the average family spends on food, clothing, and housing combined.

In Columbus, Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says Ohio over-taxed payers will work until April 14 (ranked #28 latest nationally) to pay their total tax bills, but Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says Tax Freedom Day already arrived yesterday on April 8 (ranked #44 latest nationally), because as everybody knows, your state and local taxes are lower in Kentucky.

Meanwhile, our friends at the IRS tell us, the April 15 deadline for filing your federal taxes is for real, it’s not just one of those phony baloney ObamaCare deadlines we’re all getting to know and love these days.

  • THURSDAY, in our Special “Over-Taxed Payers’ Angst” E-dition, The Blower said, “Taxation with representation isn’t so damn great either!”

More Worthless Voter Information

Here’s good news for all those 2014 Ohio Primary voters who have not yet mailed in their absentee ballots, and all those idiots who still plan to drive (or take a bus downtown) to stand in long lines at the Hamilton County Board of Elections: The Fishwrap is running a series of primers (whatever the hell those are) to help you understand the candidates’ qualifications for the offices they seek on May 6.

image017Professional reporters unstintingly investigate each candidate. Trust them. These people really know what they’re doing, as they’ve proved so many times in the past. Take Carrie Blackmore Smith’s insightful analysis about those two Dimwit DemocRATS (Fred Kundrata and Jim Prues) who foolishly believe they have a real shot at Congress by unseating Republican Congressman Steve Chabothead in Ohio’s First Congressional District, for example.

So how did Carrie Blackmore Smith, Government/ Public Affairs Editor Carl Weiser, and the hordes of Fact Checkers at The Fishwrap miss the little detail that one of the Dumbed Down DemocRATS (Fred Kundrata) got 3% of the vote when he ran unsuccessfully for Congress AS A REPUBLICAN against “Bronze Star Brad” Wenstrup in Ohio’s Second District in 2012? That tasty little factoid has only been mentioned in The Blower 38 times during the past two months.

No wonder Tim Burka isn’t endorsing either one of those bozos. But then again, our Hamilton County Demo-Labor Party Boss has been a Person of Consequence, subscribing to The Blower since Lincoln was a precinct captain.

  •  FRIDAY, in our “Just Another Guest Column E-dition, The Blower explained, “But It’s Still the Same Old BS!”

Now Let’s Meet Today’s Guest Editor:

image019Why, it’s none other than Patriotic Brewer Samuel Adams, whose Sons of Liberty organization carried out the original Boston Tea Party. Guys from all walks of colonial society (including artisans, craftsmen, business owners, tradesmen, apprentices, and common laborers) organized to defend their rights and to protest and undermine British rule. Hurley the Historian says some of the famous folks included John Adams, John Hancock, James Otis, Josiah Quincy, Paul Revere, and Dr. Joseph Warren.

That’s why The Blower, which takes pride in supporting rabble-rousers who actually accomplish something to be this week’s guest editor and choose three items plus a Quickie for today’s E-dition from our Current Cadre of Conservative Columnists and Contributors, and our Quote for Today Committee chose Samuel Adams’ “We cannot make events. Our business is wisely to improve them.”

  • SATURDAY in our Special “Stamp of Approval” E-dition, The Blower said, “Or Maybe It’s Not!”

Heck Of A Job, Sebby!

image022This week at the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were all getting ready to head to the Post Office first thing Friday morning to buy Charlton Heston stamps on their first day of sale. Still, a lot of The Blower’s famous friends never got a stamp.

CINCINNATI’S SWEETHEART KATHLEEN SEBELIUS, who just resigned in disgrace as Obama’s Failed Pro-Abortion Secretary of Health and Human Service, never got a stamp.

PRESIDENT OBAMA, who says Sebby will “Go down in history” as the worst HHS Secretary ever, never got a stamp.

OBAMA’S IRS PAID-LIAR LOIS LERNER, who may finally be held in contempt for lying to Congress, never got a stamp.

HURLEY THE HISTORIAN, who says FDR became a “Good DemocRAT” on this date in 1945, never got a stamp.

YOUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE, who chose FDR’s “Taxes shall be levied according to ability to pay. That is the only American principle,” never got a stamp.

OHIO GOVERNOR KASICH-TAYLOR, who’s taking full credit for General Electric’s decision to put its global shared services hub in Southwest Ohio, never got a stamp.

CONGRESSMAN JOHN BOEHNER, who’s trying to keep his job by plowing a reported $125,000 into a two-week TV ad blitz that began late last week in southwest Ohio, didn’t get a stamp.

More Screw the TV Political Ads Because We Already Voted Absentee Insight This Weekend

  • image023FECKLESS FISHWRAPPERS:  The Cup of Bad Journalism really runneth over at The Fishwrap lately. Last week they showed us how unfair and unbalanced they could be when they sucker-punched our localnaïve and clueless” TEA Party Patriots who don’t even know enough to capitalize all the letters of their name “TEA” which stands for “Taxed Enough Already.” This week, Carrie Blackmore Smith’s insightful analysis overlooked the fact that Flim-Flamming Flyboy Fred Kundrata, who ran unsuccessfully for Congress as a Republican against “Bronze Star Brad” Wenstrup in Ohio’s Second District in 2012, is now trying to run even more unsuccessfully for Congress as a Dumbed-Down DemocRAT in Ohio’s First District against Steve Chabothead. We saw the Idiotorial page given over to Cincinnati Bar Association President Jean Gepppinger Mccoy, who admitted she was defending Federal Judge Timothy Black after Republican State Rep-Tile John Becker said the Sodomy Rites Activist should be impeached, and Saturday, Sharon Coolidge breathlessly reports Deadbeat DemocRAT Liz Rogers had finally paid her back rent, without verifying where all that money came from. It’s just like what The Blower always says: Sometimes it really seems as if those Feckless Fishwrappers are just too lazy, too stupid, or too dishonest ever to report the truth.
  • image025HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says please don’t make any comparisons between Obama and Lincoln tomorrow, since Lincoln was shot on April 14 in 1865.
  • THAT’S WHY OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose this sarcastic phrase meant to downplay the complaint or misfortune of another person: “Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?”
  • THE LATEST POLLS: Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says just a week after the Obama administration declared its health insurance sign-up program a success, Kathleen Sebelius, the Cabinet secretary in charge of the new national health care law, announced her resignation. Was that a mixed message, or just part of the plan?
  • image027NOW HERE’S TODAY’S TOP TEN LIST, featuring the Top Ten Reasons Obama’s Incompetent Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius resigned in disgrace this week:

10. Another desperate attempt to save Obama’s Legacy 9. So Obama and Incumbent DemocRATS would have somebody to blame until the 2014 Elections 8. Shift attention from the Watergate movement in the Lerner IRS Scandal 7. Demo-Labor Party Boss Tim Burka promised her a ticker tape parade when she came home 6. Running out of lies to tell Congress 5. Obama found a replacement who was even worse 4. Puff piece in The Fishrap not enough to save her 3. Lovely parting gifts 2. What else did you expect from Good DemocRAT John Gilligan’s Daughter? …and the Number One Reason Obama’s Incompetent Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius resigned in disgrace this week is…Immunity!

  • BUT THIS DITZY DEMOCRAT HAS BEEN EMBARRASSING THE FOLKS BACK HOME FOR A LONG TIME: Doesn’t anybody but The Blower remember when Summit Country Day School withdrawn its invitation to Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to speak at graduation ceremonies because of her support for abortion rights? “We initially nominated her because we were proud of her career successes,” said Carol Byrd, spokeswoman for Summit Country Day School. “But after further consideration, we rescinded our invitation.” The school had initially announced Sebelius would receive an award at its commencement. But a spokesman for then-Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk, head of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, said “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.” [READ MORE HERE]

  • LOCAL GUYS MAKING GOOD: Here are a couple of guys from Cincinnati who are not embarrassing us across the country these days. The Albuquerque Journal reported its Mayor Richard Berry had recruited a pair of our local experts (Scott Greenwood, a member of the American Civil Liberties Union national board, and Tom Streicher, former Cincinnati Police Chief) to negotiate with the U.S. Department of Justice and help oversee reforms in Albuquerque’s police force. [READ MORE HERE]
  • LIZ NOT YET EVICTED: It seems Liz Rogers may possibly have finally come up with the second payment on her back rent at her Mahogany’s restaurant in downtown Cincinnati, meaning she won’t immediately be evicted. Most people were wondering where our Deadbeat DemocRAT came up with the money, since Forgetful Fishwrapper Sharon Coolidge failed to mention it. Channel 19 also reported that Rogers’ attorney had claimed the restaurant had made its final catch-up rent payment and is now up-to-date on rent through the end of the month.

But many are now speculating Liz won’t make her next rent payment.  The big question is, who or what organization gave Liz the money to make those payments.  Liz, if you tell us, we promise to print the truth. Also, if we had the name of the person who supposedly embezzled $80,000 dollars, we might find space for that, too.

  • image029ABSENTEE BALLOT UPDATE: It takes all of 32 seconds to find out if the Hamilton County Board of Elections has received your absentee ballot. Simply go to their Web Site, click on “Voting Before Election Day,” then click on “Track My Absentee Ballot.” Then fill in your “First Name,” your “Last Name,” and your “Date of Birth.” As Ross Perot used to say, “It’s just that simple!”

Of course, if you want to be like those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Voters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, you can always drive (or take a bus downtown) to stand in long lines at the Hamilton County Board of Elections just so you can say you “voted early.”  But then, you would have to be almost as stupid as they are!

  •  image024IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: Listening to the eternal whining about “Early Voting” by Vote-Fraud DemocRATS in Ohio, Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo once again explained that there is no “early voting” in the Bluegrass. They only have “absentee voting.” To get an absentee ballot, voters have to write or go to the County Clerk’s Office and apply for one.  Applicants must state a valid reason, under oath, why they can’t vote on Election Day like everyone else.  It’s not like Ohio where you can go “vote early and often,” just because Hamilton County Demo-Labor Party Boss Tim Burka, Free-Stuff Dispensing Liberals, Rhyming Reverends, and Union Goons told you to.
  • image031SPEAKING OF DUMBED DOWN, Cincinnati Reds Mascots Mr. Red and Rosie Red actually found somebody Saturday afternoon who still believes the Reds will win the World Series anytime soon after the 3-8 Reds found yet another way to lose. Some people will put anything on Facebook.
  • FREE NEEDLES UPDATE: Heads up! Now that the Free Needle Poverty Pimps have been caught in lies and routed out of Lower Price Hill, Mt. Auburn and Northside should prepare for an onslaught.  Especially with rumors abounding that City Health Commissioner Noble Maseru and Chief of Police Blackwell are encouraging this drug culture!  Not surprising for Maseru, having come from Detroit where “free everything” is popular!  Maybe this Mallory holdover needs to find the door also.
  • image033SODOMY RITES UPDATE: When the Politician in a (Tim) Black Robe announced his decision on out-of-state marriages before considering the matter legally, does that violate any judicial canons or ethics?  Kind of like when an Attorney General we’ll call “Jack Conway” declares that his oath of office and his Bar enforced ethics demanding “vigorous defense” of his client, mean nothing and he isn’t required to defend the state? Maybe it would actually mean something if not for lapdogs at the Bar Association who are more concerned with political comments than judicial integrity!
  • STREETCAR PROGRESS UPDATE: Seven Trolley Folly construction workers are shown sitting on their butts Saturday on Central Parkway. Isn’t it amazing that it’s being built on top of the vacated subway line?

image035

  • LOCAL G-UN CONTROL UPDATE: Licensed Libertarian Jim Berns, former candidate for Mayor of Cincinnati and staff member at U.C. organized a peaceful walk near the main entrance to the Clifton Campus in support of Concealed Carry on Saturday. With that many white people toting guns in broad daylight, no muggings in the area were reported all afternoon.

image037

  • image038REPUBLICANS FOR HIGHER TAXES has learned that our friend Crystal Faulkner Cooney is upset – no, OFFENDED – that she is not getting enough credit for her Republican donations.  We wouldn’t want to offend MS. Faulkner, so we’re going to skip our scheduled edition of The Crystal Faulkner DemocRAT Donation of the Week and instead highlight one of her best Republican donations.  When Crystal isn’t donating to D-RATS like David Pepper, Chris Squealback, and Mark Mallory, she does indeed support some Republicans, such as the highly ethical former Congressman “Mean Jean” Schmidt.
  • image040ANDERSON ANTICS: With only 23 more days until the Ohio Primary Elections on May 6, Real Republicans see through the phony Conservative Claims of  State Rep-tile Peter $tautberg, who votes for free needles for heroin addicts, while at the same time defending his support for common core. It’s so unbelievable. Let’s just say for people like Larcenous Lobbyist Chip Gerhardt, $tautberg is the best legislator money can buy….although to his actual constituents, it’s more like 30 pieces of silver.

It’s a good thing not that many people listen to our Disingenuous Double-Dipping Hamilton County Auditor’s Saturday Sinatra Radio show on the Geezer station, or one of those Anderson Township Republican Clubbers would be all over Alex T., Mall Cop GOP demanding equal time for the little know Anderson Township resident the Hamilton County RINO Party has endorsed.

And Saturday was such a nice day and it felt so nice out, Disgraced Former Anderson Trustee Kevin P. O’Brien let it hang out all day.

Also in Anderson, all of those illegal immigrant landscapers you see mowing grass and spreading fertilizer along the “In Russ We Trust” Jackson Memorial Parkway that used to be called Five Mile Road are not employed by the township directly. They’re brought across the Ohio River every day by the Merkle Lawn Care Company from Northern Kentucky.

  • image042LIBERAL LUNACY: In Human Events’ “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy,” #105 says you should invite all your Liberal friends to protest at a Tax Day Rally on Fountain Square, but that’s only if our Anti-Taxers remember to have a real rally on Tax Day this year.
  • image044LATE NIGHT TV JOKEWATCHER liked Seth Meyers’ “Yesterday Hillary Clinton admitted she is thinking about running for president, though it would be more shocking if she admitted to ever thinking about anything else.”
  • NOW HERE’S THE LATEST FROM BUNKY TADWELL (OUR ODIOUS OCTEGENARIAN), THE BARD OF CLEVES: whose latest Springtime Selection, “Up Your Equinox,” is available at better bookstores everywhere, except of course in Cleves:

image045“GAS PAINS” The price of gas is still sky high. It’s the highest this year by far. But leave it to that Obama guy He’ll put a windmill on your car.

This includes all DemocRATS, RINO Republicans, some TEA Partiers, quite a few Independents, disgruntled postal workers, senior citizens demanding free prescriptions, those who believe bigger government is the answer to all their problems, everybody who said “what Bill Clinton did was indefensible, but he shouldn’t be removed from office,” and those who think pork-barrel spending is OK as long as their district gets the money.

  • image054FINALLY, AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA,   Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane what to expect at that big Cincinnati TEA Party Tax Day Rally on Tuesday, April 15, at the Eastgate Holiday Inn, because Ohio’s primary election is really vital for Conservatives on May 6, because there are so many important races on the ballot (State Senators, State Reps, and the very important Central and State Central Committee races). “So what better way to motivate the masses and increase turnout at the polls than to turn a Tax Day Rally into a frivolous fund-raiser. There’s no need to hear any serious candidates speak, not when our local TEA Party organizers can bloviate endlessly about their claims of all they’ve accomplished and charge suckers $10 to attend.

AND COMING UP IN “THE WEEK THAT WILL BE”:

  • image056Monday (April 14) some of us will be getting ready for “Tax Day on Tuesday,” all of us in Ohio will be celebrating “Tax Freedom Day,” Jews will be celebrating the First Night of Passover, but we’ll all be continuing to count down the 1,013 unproductive days for the rest of the nation remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached.
  • Tuesday (April 15) will be our “Tax Scofflaw Update” E-dition and “Real E-Mails from Real Subscribers” will probably feature some of the the most creative excuses you’ve ever seen.
  • Wednesday, (April 16) we’ll be checking to see how Mendacious Members of the Media are handling the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing Massacre, like on Friday when a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombings said she walked off NBC’s “Meet the Press” set crying after they used the “alleged” bombers’ names (Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev).
  • Thursday (April 17) we’ll be checking to see if the Reds have been mathematically eliminated for 2014.\
  • The first line of Friday’s (April 18) limerick is: “The Best Part about Tax Freedom Day.”
  • And Saturday (April 19), will be out annual Patriots Day Edition and you can be sure we’ll have something completely patriotic.

image064Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Disingenuous DemocRAT Ohio Attorney General Candidate David A. Pepper.
