Special “The Week That Was” E-dition

The Blower’s Week in Review

  • image006OUR NUMBER STORY THIS WEEK was when Obama made all those Sequestration Threats about what would happen if Republicans in Congress didn’t agree to raise everybody’s taxes by March 1.
  • OUR NUMBER TWO STORY THIS WEEK was how Obama Supporters in the Press parroted Obama’s Sequester Threats, along with the same White House talking points to warn about Obama’s Sequester coming next Friday.
  • AND OUR NUMBER THREE STORY THIS WEEK was John Boehner’s response on Wednesday, when the Republican House Speaker told Obama, “You created it, you fix it.”

  • image009MONDAY in our Another “Invented National Holiday” E-dition, The Blower The Blower was surprised they’re not calling it “Obama’s Day!”

Last week, Whistleblower Lexicographer Funkin’ Wagnall’s said the proper spelling for today’s invented holiday is “Presidents’ Day,” not “President’s Day” or “Presidents Day.”

Since then, we’ve only seen it spelled wrong about a million times, especially in advertisements by companies which should know better, like Macy’s, Toyota, and the Onion Store, that wants you to fill your life with trivial crap from the past on this “President’s Day.” Maybe it’s just a really big accident when somebody actually spells “Presidents’ Day” correctly.

But now The Blower’s presidential historian Dorian Grady says, “In a way, ‘President’s Day’ could also be correct.

Because according to the federal government, the holiday being observed today is officially “Washington’s Birthday.”

But many dumbed-down Americans believe this holiday is now called “Presidents’ Day,” in honor of both Washington and Lincoln, who were born on February 22 and 12 respectively.

But which president is being honored may actually depend on where you live, because states don’t have to adopt federal holidays, which only shut down federal offices and agencies, and some states that celebrate Washington’s Birthday also recognize Lincoln’s Birthday as a separate legal holiday.

  • image010TUESDAY in our Special Official “Post President’s Day Depression” E-dition,The Blower explained that it was thanks to the “Monday Holidays Act” and “Real E-Mails from Real Subscribers” included:

According to Whistleblower Lexicographer Funkin’ Wagnalls, the proper spelling for yesterday’s invented holiday is “Presidents’ Day,” not “President’s Day” or “Presidents Day.” —Sidney Spellchecker

Why didn’t The Blower just wish everybody a happy patri-idiotic Washington- Adams- Jefferson- Madison- Monroe- Adams- Jackson- Van Buren- Harrison- Tyler- Polk- Taylor- Fillmore- Pierce- Buchanan- Lincoln- Johnson- Grant- Hayes- Garfield- Arthur- Cleveland- Harrison- McKinley- Roosevelt- Taft-Wilson- Harding- Coolidge- Hoover- Roosevelt- Truman- Eisenhower- Kennedy- Johnson- Nixon- Ford- Carter- Reagan- Bush 41- Clinton- Bush 43-Obama Day? —Whistleblower Presidential Historian Dorian Grady

If you’re going to insist on always using “Bush 41” and “Bush 43,” then you must also use “Adams 2” and “Adams 6,” “Harrison 9” and “Harrison 24,” “Johnson 17” and “Johnson 36,” and “Roosevelt 26” and “Roosevelt 32.” —Nerdly Nitpicker

Yesterday we just wished everybody Happy “Barack Obama is the Only President We Care About” Day. —Obama Supporters in the Press

During the Presidents’ Day Weekend, over-taxed payers treated Obama to a well-deserved super secret weekend golfing vacation with Tiger Woods while the First Mooch doubled the cost with her separate over-taxed payer funded holiday in Aspen. —Obama for a Divided America.

  • image013WEDNESDAY in our Special “Sequester Watch” E-dition,The Blower was waiting for all those spending cuts to kick in on March 1 while reminding readers Sequestration was all Obama’s idea in the first place:

SEQUESTRATION FRUSTRATION: Obama made another meaningless photo-op statement yesterday urging Congress to take steps to avoid the automatic budget cuts he signed into law that are set to hit next Friday. He even came back early from the golf course. Too bad Congress is on recess all week.

SEPARATE VACATIONS: Over-Taxed Payers’ cost on Air Force One for Obama’s weekend golfing lesson with Tiger, along with hotel rooms, greens fees, and exclusive golf lessons came to $989,207. Mrs. Obama’s ski trip shutting down Aspen’s air space was no big deal. It’s the sort of thing that’s happened on Mooch’s previous 15 Over-Taxed Payer funded extended vacations.

OBAMA’S KISS OF DEATH CONTINUES: Yet another business Obama visited during his re-election campaign has gone belly up. Last week a judge ordered Ray’s Hell Hamburger in suburban Washington DC closed for non-payment of rent. This week, a sign posted on the front door of the Port of Dubuque restaurant, at 600 Star Brewery Drive, says the business is “permanently closed.”

  • image015THURSDAY, in our Obama’s “Sequester Threats E-dition, The Blower asked if they included holding his breath:

OBAMA’S SEQUESTER COUNTDOWN: Today there’s only a week until Obama’s paltry budget cuts kick in.

OBAMA’S SCARY SEQUESTER THREAT OF THE DAY: Federal Prosecutors will “Let Criminals Go” if Obama’s Sequester cuts go through. The Blower really liked John Boehner’s response on Wednesday, when the Republican House Speaker told Obama, “You created it, you fix it.”

And with Food Stamps at an all time high, Obama paid a golf pro $8,000 for lessons during his $989,207 over-taxed payer-funded Presidents’ Day Weekend getaway in Palm Springs. The next day on the first hole of his round with Disgraced Golfer Tiger Woods, Obama shot an 11.

PRESIDENTIAL PREVARICATION: Did you see where Obama claimed today that since he has been president both parties have worked together to cut the federal deficit by $2.5 trillion? Truth is, the national debt has increased $5.19 trillion during Obama’s presidency, which is more than it increased under all presidents from George Washington through Bill Clinton combined.

  • image017FRIDAY in our Official “Washington’s Birthday E-dition, The Blower if Congress had to approve GW’s troop surge:

Hurley the Historian says on this date in 1732, George Washington, the Father of our Country was born. Shouldn’t we have a National Holiday to celebrate the occasion?

That’s why our Quote for Today Committee selected Washington’s “Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder.” Do you think the Father of Our Country had Obama in mind?

Whistleblower Presidential Historian Dorian Grady says today would’ve been Washington’s 280th birthday, but on “President’s Day” George Washington was disrespected once again. According to Freedom Warrior host Radio Greg Halvorson (“Failure to Honor Washington: a Triumph of the Left”) it’s “The equivalent of ‘every leader gets a prize,’ it mocks history, inspires no one, and displays the lengths to which fools go to be foolish. There is no equality between George Washington and James Polk, between Thomas Jefferson and Millard Fillmore, and to assert otherwise says: 1) that no president is different from any other; 2) that individuals must bow to the Collective; and 3) that history is a dull, generic ride.

image018“This, of course, derives from the Left, which spreads tales – even a few false ones – of racism amongst the Founders, and which recently had members of the NAALCP hide General Washington from view. Indeed, they covered the statue of George Washington with a black box (shown at right), even as they praised the author of the line, “Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Maybe that’s why Conservative Curmudgeon Stu Mahlin said, “Hey! Maybe someday when the Right is back on top, MLK Day can be changed to Protesters’ Day.

  • SATURDAY in our Official “Oscar Preview E-dition, The Blower said, Any other Official Oscar Preview would surely be a fake.

image021Sunday night, millions of Americans will be watching the 85th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood. These viewers know everything about every film and movie star being nominated. Unfortunately, these are the same Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span Obama Supporters who’ve ensured us all of another 1,427 days during the Dark Ages of America’s Second Term.

Nevertheless, at today’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane was pleased as punch to present The Whistleblower’s “Real Awards for Real Acting” for 2013.

Seediest Kids of All

The Whistleblower’s 63nd Annual Seediest Kids of All Campaign (not associated with the Failed United Way) began continues throughout the year.

We’ve featuring some truly inspirational stories about the waifs and urchins we claim to have helped in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, just so you’ll believe we actually give a big rat’s ass.

Why don’t we have a more traditional holiday guilt campaign like the rest of the news media? No charity made our publisher its president in exchange for free publicity and our endorsement, we don’t have a fat weatherman turned radio talk-show host who was never actually convicted of beating up his girlfriend, and all the really good dead celebrities other than Harriet Beecher Stowe, “Clean Gene” Ruehlmann, and “BeanBall Jim” Bunning have already been taken.

More Politics Unusual

  • image023RECOVERING REPUBLICANS: RINOs in Congress are still struggling in the Sequester Public Relations Battle. Some Republicans say the party was in a weak position when Obama repeatedly blamed the GOP this week for the spending cuts while their members were scattered around the country.
  • DISHONEST DEMOCRATS: Jesse Jackson, Jr. finally pleaded guilty plea to fraud charges this week. Jesse Jackson Sr. is probably calling it reparations.
  • UNION BLUES: Firefighters are facing possible discipline tor appearing with Obama during one of his “Sequestration” Press events.
  • TEA PARTY APOLOGY: Did Tea Party Patriots really have to say they were sorry to Karl Rove for Tuesday’s fundraising e-mail showing that Tea-Bashing RINO wearing a Nazi uniform? The Blower says they should’ve been apologizing to the Nazis.
  • MEDIA MENDACITY: PMSNBC and other Liberal Media are using another “Selectively Edited Video” again. This time smearing John McCain alleging it shows the senator’s insensitivity towards a grieving mother who lost her son in the 2012 Aurora shooting.
  • OUR LATE NIGHT JOKEWATCHER liked Conan O’Brien’s: “The Oscars are this Sunday. Everyone will be tuning in to the telecast, and “Lincoln” is one of the big favorites. Of course, like Lincoln, most people won’t stick around for the whole show.”
  • THE LATEST POLLS: Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says all eyes are on Congress and the president as the countdown to the March 1 spending cuts continues. The process “will be further proof to voters that their elected officials are incapable of doing their jobs. So incapable, in fact, that automatic, arbitrary and thoughtless budget-cutting is a better option than anything Congress and the president could come up with. But the real reason for the panic in Washington is that the American people ultimately may applaud the spending cuts. That might mark the beginning of the end for politics as usual.”
  • CLOWNS IN CONGRESS: Why do Americans hate Congress? Maybe it’s because Sequester’s coming, they have all that unfinished business, and they go off on another ten day recess. How long would you keep your job is you took ten days off with that much work undone.
  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1868, President Andrew Johnson was impeached, but amazingly, it was not for lying about getting BJs in the Oval Office. Yesterday was the anniversary of raising the flag on Iwo Jima in 1945, and the League of Women Vipers also turns 93 this month, and most of the current members were also founding members. Those are three stories we’re pretty sure you didn’t hear in the blamestream press this weekend.

Obama’s Economy

  • image024OBAMANOMICS 101: Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says Obama’s economic growth record is the worst in 60 years, not that any of our Obama Supporters in the Press would ever report that little fact.
  • WALL STREET WEAK: Whistleblower Business Editor Merrill Forbes says stocks ended the week just barely above 14,000. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when those long-awaited spending cuts kick in n March 1.
  • ROMNEYDAMUS WAS RIGHT: Kroger CEO David Dillon told The Financial Times that some companies might decide to pay a fine rather than insurance premiums because it would cost less and someday soon, and The Blower says all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span Obama Voting Kroger Employees will be getting exactly what they deserve.

More Unresolved Issues

  • image026G-UNCONTROL: Bluegrass Rifle Association Spokesman Billy Bob Carbine says Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee have blasted President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, demanding they enforce existing gun laws before new gun control measures are considered.
  • ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: Republican Senator Jeff Sessions slammed a vague bargain on immigration announced on Thursday by the Chamber of Commerce and the AFL-CIO at the same time Republican House Majority leader Eric Cantor was applauding it. “The Chamber’s primary goal has never been to establish a lawful immigration system and secure our borders, but to get as much cheap labor as possible — regardless of how it impacts American workers, legal immigrants, and taxpayers in general,” Sessions said.
  • RACIAL HEALING: One-Third of Congressional Black Caucus has been ethics investigations at least once, but they’ll call you a racist if you dare to mention it, as Obama met with Black leaders to review some “Common-sense improvements” to the voting process.
  • GAY NEWS UPDATE: The Obama administration is asking the Supreme Court to strike down the federal law defining marriage as a union between only a man and a woman.

Buckeye Blues

  • image027IN OHIO: Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says you see an unhyphenated “Kasich Taylor” so often on campaign propaganda these days, you’d almost thing that was the Ohio Governor’s real name.
  • VOTER FRAUD IN OHIO: Fox News says that Obama/Biden lawn sign remains proudly planted in front of Melowese Richardson’s Cincinnati home, three months after the presidential election, and the Dumbed-down, Self-absorbed, Media-influenced, Celebrity-obsessed, Politically-correct Uninformed Short-attention-span Obama Supporter who already admitted to voting twice illegally for Obama, may have actually done it six times. Oh, those Racist Voter ID Laws!
  • REPTILE REPORT: Peter Stautberg (the best State Rep-Tile Money Can Buy) had another schedule conflict this week so he was unable to report to the Anderson Township Trustees

Why he still had not reacted to the Anderson GOP’s resolution for him to introduce legislation in the Ohio House that would allow Anderson Township citizens to recall an elected official, just like cities and villages like Newtown can do.

  • PORTMAN’S LEGACY: We now know why Rob “Fighting to Finish Last” Portman asked The Blower not to ask what percent of the vote he got in that super-early New Hampshire poll of potential GOP presidential candidates in 2016. According to Darrel Rowland at the Columbus Dispatch, even though The Robmeister graduated from a New Hampshire university, he was the only one of 13 Republicans listed in the Granite State Poll not to get a single vote. Even a generic “someone else” landed 2%.
  • SHAMELESS SOLICITING: Judge P-P-P-Patrick DeWhine was really groveling for money at his Birthday Fund-raiser on Thursday. (Birthday Bow – $45, Birthday Balloon – $145, and Birthday Cake – $245). Didn’t he just get elected to a six-year term?

‘Round Downtown

  • image030THE CINCINNATI MESS (You’ll only read about in The Blower): Republican Activist Joe “No Conflict of Interest” Braun at Strauss Troy was surprised The Blower knew about his part in Duke Energy’s paltry $15 million Trolley Folly suit against the City, and our City Hall Snitch says DemocRAT Matthew Fellerhoff, a former DemocRAT Municipal Court Judge, is also on Strauss Troy’s Bipartisan Legal Team Duking it out with the City.
  • LOONY LIBERTARIANS: This week after Cincinnati Mayoral Candidate Jim Berns challenged his opponents to make weekly donations at the Cincinnati Sperm Bank between now and Election Day on September 10, Disgraced Anderson Masturbating Trustee Kevin “Big Spanky” O’Brien wondered if he could to take part, since he’s running for re-election on Hand Job Ticket, with the help of his enablers at the Forest Hills Urinal and Kevin’s running mate Greg Delev, who did not get the Anderson Republican Club’s endorsement.
  • PUTTING THE SIN IN CINCINNATI: Queen Queen City Streetwalkers Spokesfloozy Sarah Strumpet says Jerry Springer asked if he could bring his checkbook when he auditions some of the more attractive hookers on parade outside the Horseshoe Casino when it opens on March 4.
  • HAMILTON COUNTY RINOS: Party Boss Alex T., Mall Cop GOP continues to look under rocks for a few good candidates to complete his ticket. His quest will be finished as soon as he can find somebody to run for Cincinnati Mayor, all Nine Fine Clowns on Clown-cil, and the Board of Education for the Failed Cincinnati Public Schools.
  • INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST FEARLESS FERRETT says he didn’t get any new information this week about that woman who was recently accused of having six felonies in Ohio, even though she’s been active in Hamilton County RINO Party politics for several years.
  • REPUBLICANS FOR HIGHER TAXES had a difficult week like all streetcar supporters. Even some of the most diehard members were even starting to wonder if this streetcar is really going to happen and RFHT encouraged all of you tax hikers and streetcar supporters to stand strong through these difficult times!
  • FOOLS IN SCHOOLS: Whatever happened when a third grader brought a BB gun to Carson Elementary School and FCPS officials refused to expel the student as required by State law? Is that any way to teach children? What happens if he brings a pistol to Woodward? Does he get rewarded at graduation?
  • WHISTEBLOWER GOSSIP COLUMNIST LINDA LIBEL wonders when The Blower will be giving all of its reporters and columnists “Embellished Bylines,” like you see next to all those folks’ names in the printed edition of The Fishwrap these days.
  • CH SNITCH AT 1000 MAIN STREET says this week Hamilton County Prosecutor “JayWalking Joe” Deters dug up a dead nun to question her about whether she voted for Obama after she died.
  • HOW ABOUT THEM REDS?: Typical Reds Rooter Farley Fairweather says Dusty’s boys picked up right where they left off last year after being swept in the playoffs by giving up three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to lose their first spring training game to Cleveland 11-10.

Soreheads in the Suburbs

  • image031IN ANDERSON: There were actually a couple of letters opposing the Forest Gump School District’s Secret Tax Hike in this week’s edition of the Forest Hills Urinal, but it looks like those so-called anti-taxers at COAST are still giving the Gumpers a free pass on abusing public resources for political purposes.

Meanwhile in MILF-ord, The Blower is sure that school board will soon be telling its voters when they can expect the money to cover Obama’s Joke Vice President Joe Biden’s visit last fall.

  • ALSO IN ANDERSON: The Anderson branch library still hasn’t received its annual supply of IRS 1040 Tax Forms for all those patriotic people who just can’t wait to cheat on their own taxes. But not to worry, you can always pick up whatever forms you need at Ohio’s Second District Congressional Office, at 7954 Beechmont Avenue, directly across the street from the Anderson Tea Party Headquarters.
  • OUR CLERMONT COUNTY CRONY saysMean Jean” Schmidt and her Eviler Twin Sister Jennifer Black are taking “Team Pig” to Myrtle Beach and wonders if anybody could suggest an appropriate punch line for that item.
  • DRONES OVER DELHI: Former Sheriff Si Leis says if he were still in office, he’d drones flying all over Hamilton County by this time.
  • FROM THE GREAT WHITE NORTH: NoTaxJack says Warren County Pussy Prosecutor David P. Fornshell won’t be charging a Dayton-area superintendent who blasted Governor Kasich Taylor’s school-funding plan after Franklin School District Superintendent Arnol F. Elam pledged to reimburse the district for the $539 used to produce the letter and the Franklin Board of Education promised to put safeguards in place so similar violations would not happen again.
  • REPUBLICANS WITH GUNS: What kind of people showed up at the Cincinnati Tea Party’s big “Day of Resistance Rally” for all Second Amendment Supporters at “The Square” in Union Centre? Hedley Lamarr’s flunky assistant Taggart said “That’s where we’ll go a-ridin’ into town, a-whompin’ and a-whumpin’ every livin’ thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.” Then Hedley asked if they spared the women and Taggart said, “NAW, We rape the shit out of them at the Number 6 Dance later on.”

Meanwhile on the South Shore

  • image033CONGRESSIONAL CHEAPSKATE: For the second year in a row, Republican Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is returning a large part of his office’s operating budget to the Treasury. According to a press release, The Randster presented over-taxed payers in Louisville with an “oversized” check for $600,000. But how much did it cost to make that “oversized check?”
  • IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says it’s hard to believe it’s almost a year since Congressman Thomas Massie first opened his campaign in Florence and most people were wondering how long a lease Thomas had signed, because that might indicate what the candidate thought his chances were against the candidate NoKY RINOs were endorsing.
  • CUTLERY BAN: We’re still waiting for Obama’s Joke VP Joe Biden to reply to Kenton County Sheriff Charles Korzenborn’s letter questioning the Obama Administration’s ban on cutlery, since a fork can be used to assault another human being. Also, if a guy tells somebody to “Go fork himself,” would that be a felony or only a misdemeanor?
  • LEGAL UPDATE: That Cabal of NoKY Attorneys Still Out to Destroy Eric “Call Me Crazy” Deters (including the Lisa Wells WLW Fan Club) is wondering how many millions of dollars “Crazy Eric” will be suing Wiff Row High School and da polices for after surveillance video mysteriously disappeared showing his client beating the crap out of a classmate.

This week’s This Week In Kenton Circuit Court contains the usual ugly mugs of the convicted felons the Robster’s readers have come to know and love. Billy Bob the Bluegrass Bailiff tells us this week’s e-dition marks the “end of an era” for the Robster’s rag as rumor around the courthouse is there are changes in store for the next e-dition. But don’t fret, Billy Bob says there will still be plenty of mug shots, just a change in appearance for the rest of the publication. Stay tuned.

More Political Insight Today

  • image037FECKLESS FISHWRAPPERS: In the July 23, 1991 Edition of The Whistleblower that used to be printed and delivered all over all over town, that week’s “Really Big Story” was all about the “Insanity Defense” Mickey Esposito used at his trial for improperly lowering property for Friends of Joe DeCourcy, who just happened to be his father-in-law. But maybe Mickey wasn’t all that crazy. Hamilton County Over-Taxed Payers spend $1 Million on a special prosecutor and Mickey got an acquittal defending himself. If only “Talk of the Town by Frank Weikel” were still being published six days a week, The Morning Fishwrap wouldn’t still be getting shut out on this story.
  • MAYBE THAT’S WHY OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose Ted Koppel’s “People shouldn’t expect the mass media to do investigative stories. That job belongs to the ‘fringe’ media.”
  • GOING GALT means shrugging off unearned guilt, refusing to support your own destroyers, refusing to give them what Ayn Rand termed “the sanction of the victim.”
  • LIBERAL LUNACY: In Human Events’ “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy,” it says instead of using the term “Liberal,” why not try “libtard?” It’s apt (liberal + retard = libtard), it’s highly offensive, and quite wonderfully not Politically Correct. What’s not to like?
  • image039NOW HERE’S THE LATEST FROM BUNKY TADWELL (THE ODIOUS OCTEGENARIAN): Just in time to let folks know about Forrest Gump School District’s Stealth Tax Hike, we found in his “Political Poems of the Day,” found in better bookstores everywhere, except in Cleves.

Limerick for a Levy
A levy here, a levy there
You’ll see a levy everywhere
And you can bet, honey
They’ll take all your money
And leave your pockets bare.

  • image042FINALLY, AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA: Sequestration coming closer, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane why Obama and Congress have not found a way to avoid those automatic budget cuts scheduled to take effect on March 1. “What’s the big hurry,” Kane explained. “They’ll still have four days to make nothing happen when Congress returns from recess next week.”
  • AND COMING UP IN “THE WEEK THAT WILL BE”:

Monday we’ll be celebrating Presidents’ Day, and we’ll already counting down the 1,426 days until Obama’s “historic” Third Term begins.

Tuesday we’ll checking out Obama’s latest Sequester Threats and don’t be surprised if all those “Real E-Mails from Real Subscribers” are from people waiting to get good seats for the upcoming train wreck.

Wednesday will be “No Brainer Day” because if a something requires thinking, study, or analysis of any kind, then it’s not something you should try to do on this day.

Thursday we’ll be getting ready to say good-bye to “Black History Month and we’ll all be checking to see how The Fishwrap commemorates the occasion.

And the first line of Friday’s limerick is: “Last month we studied Black History.” What a coincidence!
