But Wasn’t It Obama’s Idea in the first place?

  • image004SEQUESTRATION FRUSTRATION: Obama made another meaningless photo-op statement yesterday urging Congress to take steps to avoid the automatic budget cuts he signed into law that are set to hit next Friday. He even came back early from the golf course. Too bad Congress is on recess all week.
  • SEPARATE VACATIONS: Over-Taxed Payers’ cost on Air Force One for Obama’s weekend golfing lesson with Tiger, along with hotel rooms, greens fees, and exclusive golf lessons came to $989,207. Mrs. Obama’s ski trip shutting down Aspen’s air space was no big deal. It’s the sort of thing that’s happened on Mooch’s previous 15 Over-Taxed Payer funded extended vacations.
  • OBAMA’S KISS OF DEATH CONTINUES: Yet another business Obama visited during his re-election campaign has gone belly up. Last week a judge ordered Ray’s Hell Hamburger in suburban Washington DC closed for non-payment of rent. This week, a sign posted on the front door of the Port of Dubuque restaurant, at 600 Star Brewery Drive, says the business is “permanently closed.”
  • WALL STREET TWEAK: Whistleblower Business Editor Merrill Forbes says stocks are now closing in on the all time high when the Dow hit 14,164 on October 9, 2007. Think how much higher stocks would be if America had a good economy.
  • image007VOTER FRAUD THAT NEVER HAPPENS IN HAMILTON COUNTY: Fox News says that Obama/Biden lawn sign remains proudly planted in front of Melowese Richardson’s Cincinnati home, three months after the presidential election, and the Dumbed-down, Self-absorbed, Media-influenced, Celebrity-obsessed, Politically-correct Uninformed Short-attention-span Obama Supporter who already admitted to voting twice illegally for Obama, may have actually done it six times. Oh, those Racist Voter ID Laws!
  • WEIGHT GAINERS UPDATE: Only in America……do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
  • CATHOLIC CONFESSIONS: Eucharist Tadwell wants to know if a gay assistant principal of a Catholic school is fired for blogging a gay message, how many gay students’ signatures on a gay petition will it take for the archdiocese to reinstate the gay guy.
  • image009LEGAL BRIEFS: Republican Activist Joe “No Conflict of Interest” Braun at Strauss Troy was surprised The Blower knew about his part in Duke Energy’s paltry $15 million Trolley Folly suit against the City, and our City Hall Snitch says DemocRAT Matthew Fellerhoff, a former DemocRAT Municipal Court Judge, is also on Strauss Troy’s Bipartisan Legal Team Duking it out with the City.
  • IN OHIO: Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says we now know why Rob “Fighting to Finish Last” Portman asked The Blower not to ask what percent of the vote he got in that super-early New Hampshire poll of potential GOP presidential candidates in 2016. According to Darrel Rowland at the Columbus Dispatch, even though The Robmeister graduated from a New Hampshire university, he was the only one of 13 Republicans listed in the Granite State Poll not to get a single vote. Even a generic “someone else” landed 2%.
  • ACTIVIST ALERT: Anderson Tea Party Patriots say are going to deliver a petition to Governor Kasich demanding that he stop the expansion of Medicaid in Ohio this Friday. If you agree with their position, here’s a petition you can sign.
  • image010MICKEY’S INSANITY DEFENSE: In the July 23, 1991 Edition of The Whistleblower that used to be printed and delivered all over all over town, that week’s “Really Big Story” was all about the “Insanity Defense” Mickey Esposito used at his trial for improperly lowering property for Friends of Joe DeCourcy, who just happened to be his father-in-law. But maybe Mickey wasn’t all that crazy. Hamilton County Over-Taxed Payers spend $1 Million on a special prosecutor and Mickey got an acquittal defending himself.

If only “Talk of the Town by Frank Weikel” were still being published six days a week, The Morning Fishwrap wouldn’t still be getting shut out on this story.

  • SECOND AMENDMENT RALLY: what kind of people are expected to show up at the Cincinnati Tea Party’s big “Day of Resistance Rally” for all Second Amendment Supporters at “The Square” in Union Centre? Among those expected to attend are gun-slinging rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados  mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dim-wits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, horn-swagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank-robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers, and Methodists.
  • image012TROLLOP WATCH: Queen City Streetwalkers Spokesfloozy Sarah Strumpet says it’ll be OK if Phyllis on Madison and her Covington Call Girls also go on the stroll outside the Horseshoe Casino when it opens on March 4. With all those guys with cash in their pants coming downtown, there’ll be enough of that untaxed income for everybody.
  • ABUSING PUBLIC RESOURCES: Speaking of prostitutes, our so-called Anti-Taxers at COAST keeping ranting about how the Failed Cincinnati Public Schools and the Franklin School Board are pervasive abusing public resources for political purposes, but closer to home, only a stone’s throw from COAST’s litigious litigators’ headquarters, school administrators promoting the upcoming Forrest Gump Schools Stealth Tax Hike appear to be getting a free pass.
  • IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says both Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Ohio Governor John Kasich have already said tolls have to be used if a new bridge will ever get built, but not to worry, since “Financial Experts” for the bridge project say a toll won’t be more than $2- per-crossing. The Blower hopes these weren’t the same “Financial Experts” who estimated the costs for Cincinnati’s Trolley Folly.

image015And is Milton Baloney the same city manager whose budget for the trolley was half the expected cost of the project? He is now in the building business for the City. With Cincinnati planning to demolish Pogue’s Garage and build a 30-story tower, would you want a “luxury apartment” built by the City of Cincinnati over budget and falling apart in a matter of years? Give me a break. We’re sure the Trolley Folly will be stopping there.

  • LOONY LIBERTARIANS: Last week, Cincinnati Mayoral Candidate Jim Berns challenged his opponents to donate a pint of blood each week from now until Election Day on September 10, and everybody’s waiting to see this week’s challenge. Here’s a clue: Berns’ media advisory gave directions to the Cincinnati Sperm Bank. No kidding!
  • FEATURED SPEAKER: Revered Former Congressman Bob McEwen delivered the keynote speech at the Fayette County Republican Party’s 50th-annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Monday evening. McEwen says at least that group’s Lincoln Day dinner is in the right month, unlike the Hamilton County RINO Party, which scheduled its Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner in March.
  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1962, John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth, and creditors still waiting to get paid from all of that Deadbeat DemocRAT’s political campaigns, say, “Who gives a big rat’s ass?”
  • NO WONDER OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose Aesop’s “We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office.”
  • FINALLY, AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA: With Sequestration coming closer, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane why Obama and Congress have not found a way to avoid those automatic budget cuts scheduled to take effect on March 1. “What’s the big hurry,” Kane explained. “They’ll still have four days to make it happen when Congress returns from recess next week.”
